I wouldn’t worry about a creditable opposition for now bloggy….I’d be wanting a creditable government as my first port of call. You’re a long way off that.

With lots of love from Europe.

Harry, I don’t think there will be a credible opposition party until Corbyn has gone the majority of his Parliamentary party were opposed to him without any help from the press and given the awful campaign that May ran Labour should have walked this election and woukd have done with David Miliband as leader even with Ed. 🙂

And the BBC is a much more powerful medium than the press and it was pretty obvious where their allegiances lay.

The BBC and Sky are very anti Corbyn. Pull the other one.

I can keep going for the rest of the day 9. The bias is unlike any I have seen.

Did you watch the leaders debate mate chaired by the BBC?

Its a done deal now though and May won on penalties she won’t though last long imo and there will be another election in.circa 2 years but whatever happens I can’t see Corbyn ever being Prime Minister.

Would that be the leaders debate that May didn’t turn up to but instead sent Rudd who was mourning the death of her father?
    That debate?
The debate that people try to complain that the audience was fixed when in reality th audience for these programmes are picked by an outside agency which invites a cross section of the population.
People booed Rudd because they disagreed with the bullshit she was spouting.
A lot of people voted along those same lines.
There’s been an unadulterated campaign to smear Corbyn for months where proven lies were frequently repeated time and time again.
The papers were at it too but sure their owners are non doms who don’t pay any tax, you know the kind of people Corbyn was threatening to come down on.

Bloggy – You’re damn right about that mate. Anything other than a tory landslide was going to bring a smile to my face.

Ginger – The leaders debate audience clearly wasn’t a balanced cross section of the general public. Given their hooting and hollering for Jezza and their booing of Rudd, had they been a balanced cross section then Labour would have won the election…Instead of losing by a whopping sixty seats…

The best thing to come out of yesterday though is that the Scots seem to be rejecting the idea of a second indyref

Did ever cross you mind it WAS a balanced cross section and that the people just didn’t like what Rudd had to say?
That they were pissed off that May couldn’t even be bothered to turn up?
The result of the election seem to back that up.

Harry – I have to admit to being very disappointed by the 3-0 win. Sat down in front of the telly fully expecting the much vaunted landslide, only to have the smile wiped off my smug face good and proper.

Harry – Worth remembering that had Ruth Davidson not done so well in rekindling the Tory party in Scotland, your man might well have been looking forward to moving into number ten…I’ve always had a soft spot for our cousins north of the border…lol
