I’m surprised but personally not disappointed. If we need a DOF then let’s get someone in with some gravitas in the game.
November 6, 2017 at 2:34 pm #1554371Nothing on this on Sky Sports News and nothing on the Club site.
November 6, 2017 at 2:37 pm #1554374….all over the press though with Emenalo linked to a similar role at Monaco.
November 6, 2017 at 3:02 pm #1554384I hope thats true 9 cos theres been alot of bs going on behind the seens for along time now
November 6, 2017 at 3:07 pm #1554386I know the rules of the forum with swearing but i think in this one time should be an exeption

November 6, 2017 at 3:11 pm #1554388Lol phwepsi
November 6, 2017 at 3:15 pm #1554389I remember reading in newspaper reports from “chelsea sources” that marina and emanalo were playing a game where they try to predict conte’s excuse when we lose, cant help believe it.
When you think about it, if you hire people other than manager to control transfers they are bound to brief against manager when results dip as to back him would put the blame on their recruitment. Is that whats been going on? Is it as simple as that? Is this a sign that conte is winning the fight? Questions, questions questions!
Please dont tell me emenalo and luiz been having affair though, that would explain a few things, luiz has caused trouble before with eva too apparently 😉
November 6, 2017 at 3:17 pm #1554391About time he went.
His Positives
– Brought in some great talent
– Built a great youth system
– Economically soundNegatives
– fans never felt comfortable with him lurking around.
– he sanctioned some unforgettable transfers (Lukaku, De Bruyne)
– Transfers have been slow and drawn out
– The last few transfer window have been operated badly.
– He underminded every manager since his appointment
– got ray wilkins firedNovember 6, 2017 at 3:20 pm #1554392Agree on the luiz thing. Very strange he got chucked out of the team and the day after elemano leaves. Anyway who cares aslong as hes gone. Even better if he leaves the country. The poison behind the scenes might dissapear now and we finally have a happy camp. Conte may also now sign an extension? Who knows. Just hopfully we can do some decent transfer business now

I 100% agree with Phwepsi FANF##ckingTastic! He has always been a thorn in my side since he kept renewing Mikel’s contract, always wondered if it would have happen if Mikel was from Ghana instead of Nigeria. I’ve never been a big fan of the Granovsksia/Emenalo constellation. Just my personal opinionNovember 6, 2017 at 3:31 pm #1554401As per my other thread – officially confirmed on the Club web-site
Says he is just standing down. I know he was not well liked by many but I do think that is unfair as not many really appreciated what he did but there is absolutely no denying that he had the ear of Roman and he was in situ over the most successful period in the Club’s history
No idea what his contribution was but wonder if he will be replaced or not and maybe Conte gets a bit more of a say than he has previously (but even he gave a decent comment about all the help he had…!!) KTBFFH
November 6, 2017 at 3:40 pm #1554406I do not feel able to condemn or congratulate Emanalo, as I do not have the first idea what he was actually responsible for from either a positive or negative perspective. Also not much of a conspiracy theorist, but just to be indulgent, I wonder if this is Conte ultimately winning a power struggle within the club?!
November 6, 2017 at 3:43 pm #1554408surprising but maybe its a good thing not really sure myself as I dont know the extent of his influence. Chelsea club sounds a bit like my workplace – too many bosses and managers and yes you guessed it too few hard shifters.
November 6, 2017 at 4:54 pm #1554446Thats what im hoping too liquid
November 6, 2017 at 5:00 pm #1554450don’t know how to react to this. Like it nor not, Chelsea’s financial situation is good from buying/selling players.
November 6, 2017 at 5:16 pm #1554462Wow…didn’t see this coming. A few questions…any idea who will replace him, if anybody? Will Conte have a say in the new DOF appointment? Would Emenalo have stood down if we had lost yesterday?
November 6, 2017 at 5:38 pm #1554471Quite what happens now I don’t know, as a club we have a fantastic academy and youth set up, what we don’t have is a way of progressing the talent we produce or buy in into the senior squad.
I would be concerned if a big name ex (not necessarily from Chelsea) manager is appointed as DOF as that will only lead to conflict….PaganNovember 6, 2017 at 5:44 pm #1554474So happy to see this news. I have long believed he has been a negative influence in order to protect his own position. I hope and pray that Antonio is winning the power struggle and maybe the massive show of support yesterday from the fans and the team performance that proved they play for the manager has helped RA realise just what a golden asset he has in the manager. FORZA ANTONIO!
November 6, 2017 at 5:51 pm #1554476It now appear a lot was riding on yesterday’s match, i am sure if we had lost, Conte would have be the one leaving today! Make no mistake about this guys, this is a major victory for Conte and it will seem Roman have grown a pair and decide for once to standby a Manager! I am sure we have not heard the last of this matter
