“Mate, MrMak, if you struggle with drinking let us know… ynwa”
I am but I’ll be alright. Cheers anyway fella. You also HH.

but to be clear, this has nothing to do with football. It’s real life stuff. I’ve just lost interest in football, to some extent anyway.
I’m not chin down tho lad 😉 Just… Need to get my discipline back at some stage is all. worse happening to people in Turkey right now.

Good man mak. I haven’t drank in 6 weeks and feel the better for it. I can go weeks but then at the drop of a hat I could have 19 pints. Never hit 20 as that be going overboard 😂

With the predictable Thiago issue (amazed he’s lasted this long tbh) then I think it’s time to see the Fabinho/Henderson double six with Naby as the 10, Mo and Gapko the 7 and 11 and Nunez up top. Is this a 4231? By golly, it is!

Rob, I’d stick with 433, and keep the midfield compact as Everton are going to flood the midfield with 451 to kill the game, play their rough tactics, and try to kick us off the pitch.

Hence why we should use the pace of Nunez and Gakpo to wind them up and force them into errors.

It takes guts to acknowledge something like that, it makes you a bigger man than a lot of guys out there… We´ve all dealt with things in our lives that have made us lash out in the past, I remember this Arsenal fan back here in Iceland that always got into a argument with me and visa versa back when Suarez was playing for us, he hated him with a passion… A year down the line we are just talking and I found out his father had been going through cancer treatment at the time, most of the vile things he said was just him letting off some steam because of that situation. It taught me a lesson, cause you never know whats going on and people usually have a reason or two to be depressed. Its also amazing what happens when you open up about it, cause you might feel support you never knew you had.

I fully expect Everton to sit back for the most part and kill the space in their half. Doesn’t leave much room for any pacey players to get going.
But it does leave space in behind our high line.

Sean “Gakpo grew up studying clips of Thierry Henry. He has been clocked at a speed of 32kph, so he brings similar pace”

I’ve had some successes with going off drink over the last 2 years here and there but… I’ve drank every day now for I think the last 3 months.
Sometimes small amounts, so its not like really heavy always but ya, sometimes not. It is wearing me down a bit and I just dont have the energy to come on here because there’s always that risk that an argument will start and it’s the last thing on my mind. I also dont recognize this team anymore.

On a positive note, I am doing some exercise… but ya, Ive got to slow down soon. I just know Im gonna get the DT’s and that’s not ,fun and I kinda like being alive. Odd as it may sound lol.

GL in the match tho lads, I dont think I’ll watch just because I know my PC will go down in flames again … I’ll catch the highlights.

    be well.

The last time we played this trash, we started with Elliott, Fabinho and Carvalho in midfield. That’s just bad decision making, even without the benefit of hindsight. The “Ginger Mourinho” isn’t going to do anything else we haven’t already seen. If we get an early goal, I think the points are ours. The way we’ve been playing recently however…. If Jota is fit to start, surely now is as good a time as any to play 442.

II don’t understand why you’d want Keita in there. Ok, I only saw I think 40 mins of the last game but I caught the highlights after also.. Keita IMO , was not good.
He shot when he had the options to pass to a Salah or other more capable scorers than himself, he was lazy running back. I dont get it.

What am I not seeing in this guy that many of you do? I guess that is the diplomatic way to approach this. Or, is it that you’ve just totally lost faith in the other midfielders who are…. ya, admittedly incredibly poor and ver the hill.

I agree with you on starting Philips though. 100% but no way in hell Klopp will do it.

    Chelsea dropping points.
Spurs look on their way to dropping points.
    Possibly others ahead of us.
We’ve seen this before, it’s meaningless unless we take the 3 points on Monday night.
My head says it has a draw written all over it.

If Leicester can turn their season round, so can Liverpool, as we have even better players. Over to you boys, crush them good.

A win will take us above Chelsea.
We’ll have at least 1 game in hand then on the few teams above us.
With players coming back from injury hopefully we can start turning things round and climbing up the table sooner rather than later.

Rumours are that Thiago is out for about 7-8 games. No shock. I’m completely desensitized now with our predicament.

Our injuries are never just a game. They’re effin weeks/months.

The moment I saw that Thiago missed training, I expected something like this. It was never a question of “if”. It was always going to be “when”. At least it opens the door for Arthur.

It really is just a debacle our midfield. A team on the cusp of sustained greatness resigned to hoping that Arthur Fuckin Melo gets fit soon to join a plodding Henderson and Fabinho, an enigma in Keita, a player that makes the squad ‘when fit’ based on one goal v Everton and the fact that he’s a scouser in Jones, a long term injury never far away Thiago and James Octagenarion Milner.

This ‘was’ a team that was unflappable just a short while ago and had every frigging team bricking it playing against us. Absolutely criminal our midfield wasn’t addressed. A bastard corpse could have predicted this.

I could rip a tissue right now.
