There’s likely to be some rotation for this game with West Ham away to come on Wednesday.

Leicester is a tough game for sure no easy games now. Here’s hoping.

I think there will be rotation. Jorginho and Gilmour will play this match and Kante will be rested I think. Abraham will lead the line, with Pedro and Loftus-Cheek. I think Willy Caballero, Reece James and Zouma will start too. Rodgers has never won against Chelsea, so let’s make sure that he will not win this one either. I don’t think Leicester will rotate that much as their squad is way smaller than ours, so we should be fresher here.

Let Frank rotate I think we need to go all out for a CL place rather than a FA cup just for this season plus all the top teams with the exception of Liverpool are still in the competition so it’s not going to be easy. I don’t think there’s much to choose between a so called A team or B team, the players are very close in ability and producing a likewise result whoever he may select. Next season with a couple of players coming and going will be very interesting.

I agree and I like the way Lampard is selecting the team his trying to give everyone a fair chance but at the same time aiming for victory, if we lose today it’s too bad the future is more important.

A hard fought victory. First half we’re not good but I think that’s normal considering a lot of rotation there with Gilmour and Reece James starting. I hope this is just because it’s their first official start for those two, but we were a bit shambolic honestly in the first half. Second half it was all our domination after the usual starter like Azpilicueta and Kovacic came in. Plus Barkley who played quite a lot since the restart. What a move from Frank Lampard, it paid off, but I wonder whether these substitutions will impact our youngsters. I would have love to give Gilmour more time, apart some sloppy passes IMO he was doing ok. Reece James on the contrary, I think he played really bad. Same as Emerson on the other side, I think he is not good enough for Chelsea. All subs worked well, except RLC, which is normal considering he was out for very long. He looked really out of place though. Fed 2 times by Barkley who strangely passed to him instead to Pedro who was freer on the other side.

Anyway happy with the victory, a good match moreover. Unhappy that we have to face Man Utd, a team who beat us often lately 🙁

Awful first 15 minutes. Gilmour short of a gallop and all over the place early when they could have scored three or four inside the first 5 minutes. Settled into it better thereafter and a good win. Next United. City always seem to get the better draw.

As Frank said the worst he’s seen since he took over probably the result of so many changes the restart and 3 games in 8 days.

    But we won!😊
