Reports locally in Chadderton, Oldham that 4 x cars full of Asian youths were witnessed driving around the Middleton Rd area last night after the cowardly attack waving ISIS flags and then attempting to stop ambulances getting into the Royal Oldham Hospital. These are the cunts living in our community who need putting down like a mad dog.

Conspiracies have started about the timing of the attack, because it was before an election.

    Couldn’t they wait.

ISIS have claimed responsibility…well there’s a bloody surprise. Theresa May certainly has her hands full now. Al The Gooner…no, the anti immigration anti EU sentiment shouldn’t be a surprise. Trumps attempted Muslim ban as per certain countries doesn’t seem that preposterous either.

Islamic extremism is the biggest threat to civilisation today. Who to blame? The religious teachers/zealots who preach hate who have an us vs them attitude? The moderate members of the community whos not doing enough to weed out the fanatics?

What I really don’t get, what I really don’t understand, is the mentality of these pricks living at the bottom of the maggot tree. Some mouthy gobshite somewhere, a mouthy gobshite that’s smart enough not to strap a grenade to his head and kill himslef, convinces you that you need to blow yourself up for a greater good.

“Take my word for it, don’t look at my actions, killing yourself along with dozens of kids is the right way to go, don’t worry about me, I’ll meet you there later…” You have to be a dumb fucker to fall for that shit.

Fucking idiots all of them, and those pricks in Chadderton deserve a fucking slap and a half…

Just wanted to say well done to these muslim groups/organisations

    https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/manchester-arena-attack-muslim-leaders-condemn-suicide-bombing-ariana-grande-explosion-a7751576.html%3Famp

This stuff needs more coverage in the mainstream media and needs backed by as many people as possible.

The only way these type of despicable acts are stamped out is when communities and the British people in general come together!!

Beat them with the foundations this country are built: tolerance, freedom, resilience and it’s law abiding & peace loving people.

I think no matter what cause or ideology people follow or perceived injustices people feel they or their people have been subjected to, we can all agree 8 year old innocent children should not be caught up in such brutal acts. I have 8 year old girl myself and the thought of losing her in such a pointless and pathetic act has eaten at me all day.

This country and world lost some shining lights last night and will be a little dimmer for that loss. Shame on the perpetrators and supporters for robbing the world of such beauty, potential and love! I hope the picture, and others like it, of that bright happy little face haunts anyone involved in carrying out or planning such acts!!!!!

redsforever, I think moderate muslims get unfair criticism in the wake of such incidents.

We’ve had a few good discussions on this topic on this forum, during which we’ve discovered occasions where muslims have stood up to extremists, only to find the UK govt align with extremists.

Like greenlane mosque, who seem to meet the definition of ‘extremist’. The footage secretly filmed inside the mosque sums it up better than I can:

After this came out the govt began a prosecution… but came under pressure from the Saudi Arabian consulate and several UK based Muslim pressure groups. The govt completely caved, not only did they drop legal action against the extremists, they abused their powers to take legal action (which was clearly bogus, and failed) against the documentary makers…
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_midlands/6936681.stm

CM, a poster on here suggested foreign funding of mosques should be banned to prevent politicisation of mosques in the UK, which seems like a good idea to me. Other countries in Europe have put such laws in place, for similar reasons.

Instead of putting pressure on moderate muslims, who had nothing to do with it, let’s put pressure on our government to take reasonable measures to counter the spread of extremism.
They simply cannot keep telling us that it’s no big deal. How many times can they rehash the cliched “terrorists want to divide us, and we defeat them by remaining steadfast and tolerant of everything they do.” before people realise that it’s bullshit.
No, we defeat them by cutting off their access to impressionable young muslims, their access to funding, and their access to victims. More needs to be done on all fronts. Moderate muslims can’t prevent the next attack, but a competent government might, and that’s where the focus should be.

Over the last 20 hours or so, as a family, we have wept and prayed and tried to find some answers as to why such indiscriminate murder of children can happen.
One thought remains though – evil, evil, cowardly, bastards.

As is often the case, the attacker was already known to police
    http://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/manchester-suicide-attacker-was-known-to-security-services-but-not-thought-to-pose-immediate-threat-a3546401.html

Maybe we should imprison these guys who are a known threat, rather than giving them continued access to the people they want to kill.

This latest atrocity is most sad but comes as no surprise. They say the person and the people behind this latest outrage in Manchester are ‘Muslim extremists’. Surprise Surprise!
Our western leaders must surely realise by now that we are all sitting ducks, but today all of them trotted out the same old lame bullshit that nothing the heathen bastards can do will rock our boat no matter how big the waves of their violence become. Why don’t our leaders ever act with a modicum of proactive vengeance? They never do!
Instead, every time some poor innocent victim gets blown to smithereens they just lay on their backs with their legs wide open and waffle soothing words to the utterly devastated bereft and spout politically correct endless bollocks about everybody is standing together and nothing will diminish our resolve to stand up to terrorism. What a load of bollocks!
This country currently financially supports and accommodates over 3 million Muslims. You don’t need to be Einstein to realise that there must be far more that the best part of a decent few who are willing to blow themselves in the name of Allah.
It’s now time to stand up, fight back and hit the bastards hard. Before it’s too late.
Until we do, the future will be nothing but murder!

If it was based on solid intelligence with restrictions in place to make sure it wasn’t abused, ginger.

In some cases we have people who’ve not only had contact with ISIS, they’ve gone to Syria to fight for ISIS… then come back to the UK, and are free to walk our streets.

You don’t think the public would be safer with those people in prison?

    It will always be abused.

Besides, it would be a massive recruiting own goal.

I see where you’re coming from ginger, but I wouldn’t compare ISIS with the IRA. ISIS openly participate in genocide and sex slavery, amongst terrorism.
I also wouldn’t compare the efficiency of intelligence gathering in the 70s, to now. And the better the intel, the less room for abuse.

At the moment returning ISIS fighters are assessed for risk upon coming back in the UK, and are monitored, but only jailed if there’s photographic evidence of them committing a crime.
That seems a bit soft to me, I think all returning ISIS fighters deserve prison.

Depending on the weight of evidence, some of the guys the security services monitor at the moment may also deserve prison.
It would be interesting to know what this guy had done to end up on the watchlist. Perhaps research into bomb making? I’d be in favor of laws to imprison people caught researching bomb making. But at the moment, I don’t think they can be charged unless they are caught in possession of explosives.

I’m not comparing Isis to anyone.
Imprisonment without charge or trial is ineffective. All it does is serve as a recruitment tool for those your trying to stop.

    Not to mention morally repugnant.

Oh right, so you weren’t bringing up what happened to the ira in the 70s when you mentioned internment…
And it’s morally repugnant to believe returning isis fighters (a group who support sex slavery and genocide) deserve jail.

    Thanks for the contribution ginger.
