Be surprised if there’s not changes at half time.

Ginger, Matip can’t put two games together nevermind three but according to the powers that be we didn’t need to replace Lovren.

Who said we didn’t need to replace Lovren I keep hearing this but can’t remember anyone actually saying they would rather not bring in a CB.

Shocking first half compounded by Fabs injury. The decision not to replace Lovren could end up costing a lot more than it would have to replace him. And now Hendo subbed at ht. Hmmm ….

AK, well, fact remains we didn’t bring in a centre back. So effin risky completely relying on VVD not going down and Matip staying fit.

Yes we should have got another CB in the summer window that’s a lil obvious but I keep hearing on here and on twitter about this phantom idea that some fans suggested we shouldn’t have got a CB. Jan in now only a couple of months away so we can look to try bring someone in then.
No point crying over split milk.

At this rate of losing players to injury, particularly centrebacks, I’d take a draw away to Atalanta next week.
Even if Matip is fit for West Ham, I doubt he’d be able to play midweek again.
I don’t see Rhys Williams playing against Atalanta attack.

The defence is shockingly bad as will be underlined when we next play against anyone decent, god help us against city. Running out of players only time before Adrian is deployed in defence. We are a pale shadow of the team from last season. Its game over for the season less than a month in because yet again FSG’s greed means any chance of silverware has disappeared.God only knows what Klopp really thinks about the shambolic company who own us. Any silverware has been down to an incredible manager and nothing to do with the awful owners. We would have secured far more trophies with most other owners in the EPL.

Perfect game management from Klopp, and a clean sheet to boot, keeping most of our key players fresh for the weekend.

One thing is clear though, signing a top CB is now our No. 1 priority, preferably in January. Imagine if Gomez gets injured now, a CB pairing of Williams and Phillips/Koumetio/Henderson?

As for Jota, don’t think I’ve seen a player settle in so seamlessly for Liverpool, though of course it helps to be playing with the best players in the world. He is a bit low-key (compared to Salah or Mane) but seems to be in the right place at the right time, long may it continue

Adam Lallana commentating on BT Sport last night

“The recruitment has been absolutely sensational. Jota’s proven his worth so far. When I first joined Liverpool I tried too hard. It took me between a year and 18 months to settle in – the way Jota’s come in straight away is not to be sniffed at.”

I was disappointed by team performance and espcially with Minamino, Origi and Shaq.
Matip can not lay 3 games in a month!
It is a great chance for Rhys Williams even thoufh he is inexperienced fron EPL games.
I hope Fab to return soon and Upamecano to join us asap…
