@killy – The same thing could be said for just about every signing we have made for the best part of the last decade and more, as far as selling clubs are concerned Manchester United are the gift that just keeps on giving.

Getafe drew 3-3 away to Athletico Madrid recently, and Griezmann was full of praise for Greenwood:

“It’s a shame because we had made a great effort with ten. It’s a shame that Savic makes two fouls and gets two yellow cards. In the end you hold on… Greenwood hurt us a lot, we couldn’t stop him at the end of the game and two goals came.”

Greenwood continues to impress on his loan there… imagine we had him on the right instead of Antony! He may be a bit of a cunt but he seems to have settled now with his girlfriend, so I do think he deserves another chance at United next season.

Flashscore now shows player ratings per game. Greenwood’s have been increasing steadily every game since he joined then

He’s a £100m plus player. Miles better than Antony. I’d be recalling him in January 😂

Its our only product of academy who have potential to be world class player besides Pogba and we all know how they fucked that up too. Our academy should also educate players how to behave as a normal person outside the football. I think the early easy money is rotten their minds.

A 3-5-2 with Greenwood and another striker up top would be perfect and Mainoo and Martinez as holding. You have to buy 2 new cb´s to use this formation but i have a strange feeling we are going to fuck up the transfer of Todibo. Reading that Spurs are in talks with him.

Ratcliffe owning Nice won’t be an impediment to united signing Todibo

What new rules? Surely if Man Utd are willing to pay a fair price and the player wants to go then it can happen? And as long as Nice don’t stop him from joining anyone else over United if all parties are paying similar fees and so on. I think it’s more like the Sesko situation where RB Salzburg said he wasn’t for sale, then put an asking price of €50m on him and then sold him to RB Leipzig for €20m is what they’re trying to avoid.

Englishbob, that was about loan deals and prem clubs rejected it

If United do sign Todibo it’ll be for market price and all above board

Sesko for 20m is mouth watering.
I would have him for 50m too.
Spurs in talks with Todibo 😩.
We are on fentanyl when it comes to transfers.

Ten Bob must be moonlighting as the head chef in his spare time, let’s face it the football his team serves up every week is just as poorly prepared and unappetising.

The Ratcliffe deal is breaking as done, subject to Premier League approval. I’ll say it again, bad deal. 1.25 billion quid straight into the pockets of the gimps and we’ll still have an antiquated broken stadium, medieval training facilities, a billion of debt, the gimps and an absolutely diabolical squad. And that’s not mentioning Ten Hag. I just don’t see anything improving anytime soon.

@jm1502 – whilst I will definitely not count my chickens before they hatch, I’m sure Ratcliffe wouldn’t have come in with some kind of guarantees that the utter mess that is the running of the club would change – you don’t invest over 1 billion in something that is run so badly. They would have done one of two things in my mind: 1.) would want to run the football and day-to-day side of the club or 2.) confirmation that they can buy a controlling stake in the club sooner rather than later. If Ratcliffe comes in, spends 1.25 billion just to own 25% of the club and not change anything would make him an utter idiot which I don’t think he is. Cheers

Saw this on Facebook just now, he’s not wrong.
Ian Holloway brutally sums up the main problems at Man Utd right now:

🗣️ “They have no one like Roy [Keane]. Where has that gone in football? I look back to Sir Alex Ferguson’s reign, he never ever got anyone’s character wrong. If any one of his players thought they were bigger and better than the club, he would sort them out. That’s where Man Utd are going wrong.

“The problems started when Jose Mourinho signed Paul Pogba. Sir Alex got rid of him because he thought he was bigger than the club, then Jose went and bought him back!

“They used to have players who had the best attitude and wanted to win. Bruno Fernandes isn’t a leader, he just blames everyone else when what you need to do is go out there and lead your team. That is what Roy Keane used to do, but I don’t think there are many of them around now.”

He’s pumping another 230 million in apparently Sympathy, which these days gets you 2.5 Antonys mate 😂😂. Seriously though, where’s the money for ground improvements / rebuild, debt and new players coming from?

Hopefully Ratcliffe will bring about a new era. Its been long overdue, he is a lifelong supporter of the club and will hopefully have our best intentions.

Initially, his main priority should be to set up a professional structure on how the football side is run. The rest of the issues will take time and several years to resolve.

Jm1502, would you improve the facilities, ground etc whilst the leeches are still own 50% of the club?
