Oops I meant English left backs. Tierney and Robertson are both better LB’s

I would take James Justin over any of the above, he can play right back or left back without batting an eyelid just like Denis Irwin used to do, and is equally as good both defensively and offensively, as the great man also was.
To think we paid 42m MORE for the non footballer that is AWB, yet another great piece of work by our so called ‘scouts’!

Ha ha AWB is twice the defender Justin is!
Remember people losing their shit on here when Chelsea signed Werner, Silva and Havertz. Ha ha ha!! So many fickle fuckers on here.
Chelsea are awful. Lampard hasn’t a clue what he’s doing. Ole and this United side are “streets ahead” of Chelsea!!

@happy – Don’t be a clueless tit all your life mate, your completely biased red tinted judgement of a player has been a long running comedy sketch for more than a decade on this site, and almost without fail it leaves you with serious amounts of egg on your face when you end up being proved wrong time and time again.😂😂 Do you seriously want to have a little bet with me as to who gets an England call up first between the two of them?
Fact is, you wouldn’t recognise a footballer of quality if he sat next to you every night on the bus home Mr Magoo, simple as that.

AWB is utterly useless, but will need more time.As for Chelsea, they signed so many new players over the summer, they too require time to settle in a new league.Wait until next season.

N1xer-Hola amigo, any idea who this lad from Real Sociedad is?Robin Le Normand is his name, have you seen much of him to warrant an £75m bid?

Is that Ighalo gone? I thought he was here till 31st Jan?

Another good game from Dalot tonight. Looks solid defensively. AWB will have a fight on his hands if Dalot is given a chance next season

We 100% have to win the next 2 league games. After them it’s Chelsea and City away back to back.

@Redblood-Just seen you post to me a few weeks ago mate. I’ve seen Sociedad a few times this year and he hasn’t stood out. Think he is only really establishing himself in La Liga. Haven’t heard about the £75M bid but that is pure fucking madness if true. Think this will be a tricky tie over the two legs against them.

I think Ole really missed a trick with his treatment of Tuanzebe after Paris. He was superb in that game and has hardly been picked since. I believe he is 23 now and looks to be going backwards. It was really poor management to drop a player after such a performance especially in favour of a useless twat like Lindeoaf. At 23 he should be playing regularly but it doesn’t look like happening at OT and under this manager so I suspect he will be off in the summer one way or another.

N1xer-Its him and P.Torres we are apparently looking at,I understand the media are slighty exaggerating their prices.

    Ps;Janusaj,too,is doing much better now,it appears…

Agree with yorkshire, Tuanzebe deserves a lot more than a couple minutes of action here and there. We must sell Bailly this summer as he simple cannot stay fit. At the moment Tuanzebe is best suited to play alongside Maguire

Redblood, most players do better without the pressure of playing for United – just look at Jonny Evans and Memphis Depay

I have the distinct impression that Ole is far to risk averse to give Tuanzebe any sort of run in the team, he will always go back to Lindeloaf as we’ve seen on many occasions. If I were him I’d be looking to move on now like TFM has, he’s 24 yrs old next and should be playing regularly for somebody.

Tuanzebe has just turned 23. With the year option he’s contracted to United until 2023. Given Mengi and Fish are likely to be loaned out next season I don’t think United would consider selling Tuanzebe this summer

Ole has hinted Maguire will need a rest at some stage. Lindelof will also need resting soon so if Bailly is still out there should be plenty opportunities for Tuanzebe over the next 2.5 weeks

If I had to guess I’d say Maguire will be rested in the FA Cup and Lindelof in the Europea League

@homer – Like I said, he’s 24 next and will be much nearer to it by the time the new season starts in August!😂😂 I honestly don’t think Ole rates him or trusts him enough to play him ahead of Lindelof or Bailly unless they get injured, so he’s got a decision to make in the summer of his situation doesn’t change, especially if a new CB is signed.

    So yeah, he’s just turned 23 😉

Ole does seem to rate Lindelof and Bailly ahead of him. Personally I’d sell both Lindelof and Bailly and buy one world class CB. Then Tuanzebe would be first choice backup CB which I’m sure he would be happy with.

Realistically though I don’t think there is any chance we’ll sell Lindelof this summer

I guess it will all boil down to whether he is content with still being a squad player as he approaches his mid twenties (😂😂), and if his agent can maybe line him up a nice little move with a big pay rise to go with it.
If I was him and having only ever started just a handful of PL games at his age I would be looking to go elsewhere and play regular football.

Yeah don’t really disagree with any of that. That said, given the amount of games we play first choice backup CB would play a lot and probably be on at least 80k per week

Changing subject, Pogba injury could be great news for van de Beek. I’ve got a feeling part of the signing of him was with it in mind that Pogba may leave. Would love to see vdB given a run of games in central midfield. This could have an impact on our summer transfer plans

If they gave him 80k per week (same as Jones!!) it would certainly help soften the blow somewhat! You know, I’d actually forgotten that VdB was still here when I heard that Pogba was out, very strange ongoing situation with him.
