No doubt JM but it’s not new mate. Everyone knew that even before he signed. He is just using that narrative to suit himself. And not because he wants the best for the club or fans.
November 14, 2022 at 10:30 am #2152845We gonna have the typical old brigade of ‘loyal’ clowns Keane, Ferdinand etc defending and licking Ronaldo’s ass.
November 14, 2022 at 10:35 am #2152849@blacky – not sure of the accuracy of your statement. The state of Carrington and Old Trafford may be well known by those who attend games, and those living in the region, but beyond that? I don’t know the state of the Bernabeu, The Nou Camp, The San Siro, Stamford Bridge, Anfield, The Allianz and so on and so forth. I don’t know the standard of their training grounds. I live in Indonesia and there are Man Utd fans here, but I bet not many of them could tell me what Gary Neville has said. But I bet many could tell me today what Ronaldo said. Ronaldo’s interview is being featured not just on the sport’s pages and websites but on news sites. I bet that his interview will be mentioned once or twice during the World Cup. The fact is there is an uncomfortable spotlight thrown on Manchester United right now because there is merit in what he says about the club.
November 14, 2022 at 10:44 am #2152854Tend to agree with HailMartial for once. Many United fans just won’t get what a shit show the club has become and, while the arrogant fucker is all about ‘me me me’, it does shed a welcome spotlight to those who didn’t already know, on how far we have fallen.
November 14, 2022 at 10:53 am #2152860@hail- Get a grip mate, any United fan worth their salt could easily have educated themselves about all things pertaining to the state of the club and the gimps ownership, especially considering all the ongoing protests in the stands. It’s all out there and readily available.
Either way, Ronaldo doesn’t give a flying fuck about all that shit because he thinks he is Mr Football and beyond reproach, simple as that.November 14, 2022 at 11:12 am #2152871Not sure about that Blacky. You only need to listen to those soft cunts on the Stretford End singing the ‘who put the ball in the German’s net’ song every week to realise what a thick fuck the average United fan is 😂
November 14, 2022 at 11:13 am #2152873@blacky – a swimming pool with tiles missing? A gym using the same equipment that was there 15 years ago? I didn’t know any of that before it started floating around today. This is the type of information people are now going to learn when they hear of his interview. What I knew was Carrington needed investment and had fallen behind its rivals and that Old Trafford had a stand with a roof that was leaking. Whatever you think of Ronaldo and the way he’s conducted himself by doing this interview, it has peeled back some layers to show the true level that this ‘elite club’, which is branded as the biggest in the world, is really at.
November 14, 2022 at 11:24 am #2152882How explain to me how criticising your manager and teammates do for team morale. You think SAF would have tolerated this? Fair play to the rest of the ManU fans for calling a spade a spade.
November 14, 2022 at 11:28 am #2152886I’m talking about the bigger picture, not insignificant tittle tattle shite like that. The match going supporters and the proper wider fan base all fully know what’s being going on with the rising debt, and the rotting stadium and training ground.
November 14, 2022 at 1:22 pm #2152938Its a case of tell us something we didn’t already know Ronnie.
The sad part is that this is merely his latest stunt to get out for free – as he and his agent have clearly been told by all and sundry that they wont pay a fee for him.
If it was anyone else he would be left rot in the reserves but such is the toxicity surrounding this lad, ETH will have to let him go, marking it down as another Ed omni-shambles, aided and abetted by old whiskey nose on this occasion.November 14, 2022 at 2:20 pm #2152976Old Whiskey Nose? I believe that’s what the scousers used to call him. Never any of our own fans. Ever!
November 14, 2022 at 5:16 pm #2153070I kinda think that Ronaldo has some merit to what he is saying, its not like Neville or anyone on TV will have a proper go at the management of the club and lets face it the Glazers have basically become slumlords… Shitty facilities, shitty stadium and extravagant fees…
United is the worst run club in the Premier League 🤷🏼♂️
This outburst just exposes that and the club will make an example of him and it might work in the short term but if the management of the club does not start investing in the club you are screwed long term…
Then im talking about new facilities, new stadium plans etc… I reckon the Glazers will just continue to leech of the club 🤷🏼♂️
November 14, 2022 at 5:20 pm #2153071@notoriousbingo – you are right, and I would say a solid 80% of United’s fanbase around the world know this now (be it after the Ronaldo interview or before). The issue is that there is not much fans can do – I mean fans can not go to Old Trafford on match day or not buy merchandise, but in reality there isn’t enough of a combined and unified effort across the fanbase to really make a dent.
The unfortuante truth is that United are stuck with the Glazers even though they are a proper cancer to the club.
November 14, 2022 at 5:28 pm #2153072At least he got 90 minutes with Piers Morgan.
November 14, 2022 at 5:38 pm #2153076I reckon the Glazers will be forced out after the Liverpool takeover happens, unless they completely change their tactics with the club… stop leeching and start investing into the club… So far they have been able to trick the fanbase with a few big signings that never pay off…
When the Liverpool takeover is complete the league will be a three horse race between Liverpool, City and Newcastle… Newcastle and Liverpool will be able to outspend City easily, the same goes for Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern and PSG…
Its crazy, the new billionaire owners are worth 100 billions, there are four guys with assets around 100 billion looking at the club…
The Glazers are never going to compete against that, cause there is a ceiling for all clubs and no club in the world will be able to compete against Newcastle unless it gets sold to someone that can compete like the four billionaires looking to buy Liverpool.
I wanted the Super League instead of this
November 14, 2022 at 6:32 pm #2153090November 14, 2022 at 8:31 pm #2153110That grin on Carra’s face “Im getting paid for this” he is such a spoiled brat sponsored by the SKY… he spat on a girl live on tv and its okay because he was under pressure, the worst person ive seen captain Liverpool FC…
The epitome of bullying and the number one reason Liverpool never won the title while he was playing and he even had Gerrard on his side… how fucking bad do you need to be to be such a fuckup that is more renowned for his own goals than his attacking threat…
Talking about captaincy against Ferdinand who actually delivered 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
November 14, 2022 at 8:54 pm #2153115November 16, 2022 at 5:13 pm #2153662I need add one thing about Ronaldo himself, Ive never been his biggest fan, I find him a bit too arrogant for that to happen but that doesnt change the fact that the man is human and he lost a child this winter…
If the management of the club did not stick by him and give him all the time he needed then he has my full support as a human being…
Cause basically if something like that happened to a Liverpool player for example I would give him the rest of the season off, just explain that the player has the full backing of the club and squad and if there was anything at all just give me a call… the club is here to help but pressuring him and doubting his words hits me in the gut…
Can you guys imagine getting a phonecall from your boss asking you to come in when you just lost a child? Your wife is there morning one child and trying to deal with another and you are getting pressured by work…
Like he has to explain to his other kids what happened and your boss is breathing down your neck and the next thing you know he is trying to get you out of the club as well…
I love Klopp because he creates a family environment at Liverpool, this is just pure business with total disregard to the players…
Sorry mates, rant out
November 16, 2022 at 5:39 pm #2153672Notorious, when his child died, it was reported that he was given compassionate leave and was told he could take as long as he wanted, I don’t know the truth of what really happened, nevertheless he returned to training relatively quickly, by all accounts of his own volition.
The issue in preseason was different. Ronaldo said he needed time as his baby wasn’t well, he didn’t travel on the preseason tour and didn’t return to training immediately after the team’s return either. In the meantime it was reported that his agent was hawking him around Europe trying to find him a new club as he wanted to play in the CL this season and wanted out of Utd. Now, at some point someone figured that if his kid is well enough for him to be looking for a new club then they’re well enough for him to report for training as well.
It seems that at every juncture the club has done everything to make life easier for Ronaldo, through what I have no doubt has been an extremely traumatic time. The only thing Utd haven’t done to keep him happy is qualify for the CL.
What’s happened in the last few days is completely down to him and while I sympathise with him for the loss of his child which no parent should have to go through, I have no sympathy for how things have turned out now. -
