I hope for the best with all these lads, and looking forward to the very, very near future!

    Mason Mount

Reece James (some of the passes here are fantastic)

    Fikayo Tomori

    Tammy Abraham

    Christian Pulisic

One more chance maybe?…Bakayoko.. I know, I know, but look how much better he does here playing deeper, not box to box

Hey Nine, like you the more I see of Reece James the more I think he will be our right back for the next decade, he has so much potential in todays game as full back.

The potential in our squad is very hard to measure, but look at the options Frank has for each outfield role

    CB

    Luiz
    Rudiger
    Christensen
    Tomori
    (Ampadu)

    LB

    Emerson
    Alonso

    RB

    Azpilicueta
    Zappacosta
    James

    Def Mid

    Kante
    Bakayoko
    (Ampadu)

    Playmaker

    Kovacic
    Mount
    Jorginho

    Att Mid

    Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Ross Barkley (probably a good option as playmaker too with ruben as att mid, willian to cover here too)

    Winger

    Willian
    Pedro
    Hudson Odoi
    Pulisic

    Striker

    Giroud
    Abraham
Morata/Batshuayi (Prob Batsman but I am sure one of these will be retained this season)

Like I said the potential is hard to measure, but this is a pretty damn good squad as it is.

Cant wait now, lets go Frank! 🙂

P.s, just because we have a transfer ban doesnt mean we cant be open to good business. If we get a good offer for jorginho or zappacosta I would let them go as it will further boost our transfer kitty for next summer and will give more opportunity for mount and james.

Definitely would let Zappa, Drinkwater and Jorginho go and surprised we bought Kovacic. Not sure Lampard will do that though. We look too over bloated in every area, the one area which is a worry is the striker cause if Abraham don’t pay off dont expect too many goals from the other strikers, it will have to come from the midfielders.

Strikers, it’s a big task for Abraham to fill Costa’s boot. We haven’t replaced Diego Costa properly and we paid the price. I have to agree that we should make money where possible: Zappa, Drinkwater, even Bakayoko or Jorginho or even Barkley. We have too many central midfielders.

Frank will asses everyone over the next few weeks but there are only 25 plus places in a squad and some difficult decisions will have to be taken by him.

This is the squad for Dublin but lots of other players to join up later.

    GOALKEEPERS: Caballero, Cumming

DEFENDERS: Azpilicueta, Zappacosta, Zouma, Ampadu, Sterling, Tomori, Guehi, Maatsen

MIDFIELDERS: Drinkwater, Bakayoko, Baker, Palmer, T.Chalobah, Gallagher, Gilmour

FORWARDS: Kenedy, Pedro, Batshuayi, Piazon, Ugbo

Lovely to see so many young talented kids get chances, obviously still in its first stages so we can’t comment but with other players due back hope it’s not a token gesture for the youth many who I sincerely believe could do a better job than the seniors now already, faith and sufficient opportunities are the criteria.

Saw 65 min of Gold Cup final, just to see Pulisic. Great ball control, good speed, but poor decision making and poor finishing. No, he is no Hazard. But he does have great potential. Hopefully he will become an important addition to our team. Dunno though when he will join the squad due to his involvement in Gold Cup.
