What a poor Christmas and new year period Stoke have had, summed up today losing to a team i bet have never played that poorly in years and still won.

The atmosphere could have been so different after winning a penalty in the 5th minute you just feared Afobe would miss it when you have the greatest chance to lift confidence and the crowd. He duly did and also missed heading wide and straight at the keeper when well positioned. Other chances were passed up and Bristol on their first cross in the 40th minute was headed in whilst our statue defence watched in anger like me. Then to gift them a second near the end was just criminal.
The atmosphere and chants rang out for Rowett to go and more. Stoke had lots of play but you could see the confidence is shot and when you miss great opportunities when they arrive you get what you deserve – zilch. The FA Cup game is now a massive match if Rowett survives till then.

Happy New Year to all lets hope it only gets better.

Rowett has had his chance. He has to go. Except for Allen, the whole bloody team should be dropped/ and/or sold off. A new boss has to take charge…. preferably one that is not afraid to use the long-awaiting squad members like Souttar, Campbell, Lasse, Mame Diouf, Bojan, and Moritz, among others.
