Pax and WG – You are allowed flowers, just not on surgical wards, due to spreading infection, it’s nothing to do with being PC lol. Hope your Mrs is back running up and down stairs in no time Pax, spinal ops always have pretty savage rehab.

Mrs Pax is in the best place mate she’ll get there eventually and they won’t let her out until she can comfortably do the stairs. At least it’s only 23.😊

Harry – Not sure about that, when I took the flowers in Jen said I don’t think I’m allowed them so she asked a nurse and she said I would have to take them with me when I left. I am with you I’m pretty sure there is a good reason for it.

Oh well you’d have had some nice flowers when you got home to brighten things up.

Pax – I just plucked this from my trusts Visitor FAQ.

    4. Can I bring flowers?
Some wards allow flowers but some wards cannot allow flowers, to minimise the spread of infections to vulnerable patients. Please check with the individual ward.

Paxo – As I read back through the half a dozen posts you made on the day of your wife’s delicate and dangerous operation to her spine I couldn’t help but be moved by the concern, pain, fear and anxiety that screamed from the page with each and every tortured syllable. I defy anyone to read those posts with a dry eye. Seldom has a husbands love and concern for his wife shone through in such graphic and unselfish fashion. With the benefit of hindsight, its blindingly obvious that those posts were a cry for help from the heart.

The way in which you advised Davinci that Klopp was a better judge of a footballers ability than he would ever be. The manner in which you informed Mr Mak that Fabinho had to cope not only with a new position on the pitch but with settling into a new country. Your joy at the prospect of a more solid midfield line up against Arsenal with Shaq back on the bench. Your advice to me that “Those bins won’t empty themselves”. Your comments to Mak regarding Julian Laurens.

No one here can be in any doubt that these were a perfectly normal reaction of a tortured soul who simply couldn’t contain his deep felt concern at his wife’s predicament. Who among us here would have behaved differently?  She’s certainly a lucky girl.

WG – Yeah you have to laugh at him, for a start I’m not married 🙂 I assume people were saying Mrs Pax just as a term. Secondly we were assured that it was a pretty stright forward operationand not so delicate and dangerous, although with all surgery there is an element of risk, they had specialist monitoring equipment so the surgeon could see that nerves were not being affected, I was by her bedside when she came round from the operation, there is not too much you can while she is being operated on, maybe the idiot thinks I should have been in there holding her hand 🙂

Pax, you don’t have to justify yourself bro. I’d imagine it’s quite therapeutic to hit the forum for a bit when there are other more serious issues in progress.

‘..post counting gargoyle.’ Lol. Nice turn of phrase.

Paxo – You on 05/05/2017 @ 13:58 on the “Article 50 triggered” thread.

Jay – My brother in-law is Mike Stone, and his junior position as Bloggy calls it, I am sure you and I wouldn’t mind, seeing as the person he replaced was on £10,000 per week, plus he retired as a Brigadier on a full pension from the Army, he also was CEO of BT open reach, he has a son at LA film school and 2 daughters, one of whom returned recently from working in South Africa, the other works in London and has a flat in Covent Garden, his sister, my Mrs is Jenifer Stone, and there are two more brothers Tim and Chris, the reason I said CEO/CIO is because there was no CEO at the time and he was covering both aspects. His major role was IT, as it was performing a completely overhaul of how all the satellite data was gathered and processed. He has never said anything that breaches his secret act and nor have I.

So were you lying that Jennifer was your wife, or were you lying that Mike was your brother in law? The two options are mutually exclusive.

Or as I suggest are you simply always lying? I belive the word is ‘pathalogical’.

Oh dear proper trawling. Okay just to humour you, we were and still are engaged, we had planned to marry shortly after that, but a few family issues have delayed that plan, but I am sure that it won’t be that far away. Yes I do think of them as my brother in-laws, and it is just plain easier than saying my fiancees brothers all the time, I am sure there are other people that do the same. The same way people call their girlfriends, their Mrs. Is it really that difficult for you to comprehend.

Seriously Bloggy you’ve made your point more than the once you don’t agree with Paxman posting at work you’ve probably got a point but the site will be littered with people that post at work and it’s not a hanging offence.

It’s beginning to get weird now you’re a smart lad best let it go.

Mrs is a generic term, as is ‘other half’, ‘the wife’, ‘the boss’ etc.

I am very blasé with terms such as uncle (my mates who are like uncles to my sons but aren’t, technically), brother-in-law (my Aunty who is much younger than my Mum and in turn has a partner (not married to) who is much younger than her and is therefore only a year older than myself – would seem weird to call him uncle lol.

LMAO. You’re on form today WG. I didn’t realise people from Manchester could even spell, let alone write on-point humour.

Paxo nothing you ever say on this board surprises me. You are the most consistent of posters. To coin a phrase “One can always tell when you’re lying…you’re lips are moving!

In answer to your question, no, I never used the term ‘wife’ when talking about my girlfriend…and, no, I most certainly never referred to my girlfriends brothers as my ‘brother in laws’ Furthermore you yourself would never have claimed Jennifer Stone to be your wife had you not been trying to dig yourself out of the hole you’d made by way of a ridiculous and nonsensical claim to be ‘in the know’ regarding terrorist plots by way of a ‘close relative’.

So having confirmed that there is indeed no patient named Jennifer Parker currently on the wards at Adensbrooke’s Hospital, it’ll be interesting to see if there’s a Jennifer Stone there eh? I’ll keep you posted😈

Problem you have Paxo is that you are a proven pathalogical liar…no make that…a ‘self confessed’ pathalogical liar…and as such nothing you ever say on this board, be it to do with work, or family, or politics should ever  be believed by anyone with half a brain in their head. The fact that there are those here handing out sympathy for your latest fantasy is testimony to the congenital stupidity of some herewith…usual suspects stand up please.😉
