Great fare. Best performance by a 10 man stoke team ever. Sends a message to the other clubs that the quality we have now refuses to be diminished and the cobwebs have just about been dusted off. As usual we had to do it the hard way. But what a match. 1-0 then 1-1 then 2-1 (should have been 3-1) . Saido and Allen really put in the hard yards. Williams got his timing right with Shawcross and everyone else contributing. We are 12th and what is gratifying is that this squad is starting to enjoy the season ahead. Heee Yaaaah …..

Agreed a great team performance and all putting a shift in against a Derby side who played ok at times but i expected more from them. They have loan players from top PL clubs who if they make the their first teams will fit in by going down under the lightest touch.
Butland saved well early on but we again grew into the game scored a good goal then mayhem on review it was a sending off and instead of recent seasons collapsing we sat further back and kept them at bay.
The free kick you just knew they would score but then we looked the more dangerous team on the attack and scored another goal which Carson did not make a great fist of.
We had to make many interceptions but were never opened up and as a team deserved the win.

I am seeing the real Jack Butland now. Plugged all the gaps and more. Just wondering if Bojan and Diouf are available too. Maybe that was the way to play. And we were just starting to dominate when the red card came. Still a top effort though. I think Saturday cannot come soon enough for this squad. The Potters are smokin’ ….. Aiy Caramba ….
