Hi there, anyone have any information on where Sunderland fans can go to have a chat with other Sunderland fans? I have given this forum a chance but it is almost unreadable, unnavigable (if that’s a word) and completely user unfriendly. I don’t know what possessed teamtalk to change from the old format to this one, and don’t really care, just want to feel part of the Sunderland family, a wish which this forum does not fulfill. Any www addresses which I can go to would be appreciated.

Hi billy – like you I haven’t found anywhere as good as this was before. Despite the problems with the format I wish posters would just give it a go. I know there’s a few of the old posters on here still giving it a look in. Maybe we should just give it a go for a few weeks and see how it works.

billy….northern….yes, I still think the old system was better, but like you, haven’t found an alternative I would use. Lets hope that Big Sam gets a few decent players in by the deadline and we will have something positive to post soon. As per the last few seasons, (forgotten how many now), I won’t give in until its numerically impossible tomstay up…..and this season is important that we do.
Ah well, such is the life of a Sunderland fan these days.

Hi Billy, Cheshire and Northern too. I’ve been absent for sometime partly because of the constant abuse and partly because this new forum is so user unfriendly. Hope you guys are doing okay though, certainly better than the team.

So there’s a few of us around – let’s see if there’s something worth salvaging on here. It hasn’t helped that the team has been so poor so far this season.

Thanks to my old mates Northernlight, Cheshire_Cat and Welshmakem. I was beginning to feel like the astronaut in 2010, floating alone in space! I was encouraged by our display against Manchester City on Tuesday but it’s no good if we don’t get an end result. Funny as it sounds I feel we will get something from the Liverpool game on Saturday, even a point would be welcome. Whatever happens over the rest of the season I feel we still have the best chance of escaping relegation with Sam in charge. Say what you like about him, he knows how to get the best out of players, (even those who are quite ordinary), and always tells it as it is. There are no frills with him, and I think the Sunderland fans appreciate that in their manager. He does not try to gloss over bad news, the players know where they are, what they have to do and what he expects from them. With all this going on, the annual fight against relegation and an abject lack of quality in the team, I still couldn’t be anything else but a Sunderland supporter..they are my team and for better or worse I love them.
