I get to the Pompey game yesterday, sure the conditions were really difficult with a strong swirling wind but I have to say the quality of the refereeing was appaulling and effectively ruined any chance of a good spectacle. When Mr Johnson limped off we were all well relieved even if we had to suffer an extra 7 minutes of added time, and you know what this normally means for Portsmouth (Carlisle, Stevenage)

Anyway we are in the hat for the 3rd round, who do I want? Any team in the Prem home or away but definitely not Eastleigh. Probably end up with Carlisle away, who knows.

Well Chris, as someone pointed out, when we win our first round game, whether that be a first round game or a third round game, we normally get to the final! Would be good to get a big team and not get a spanking. Speaking of refs, did you see that idiot disallow Liverpool’s equaliser today ? Good job it wasn’t Chelsea or Jose would have been whining about it till Christmas.

Yes Kingo I saw that one, but on reflection without appauling refereeing decisions what else would we have to grumble about over our post match pint. The Serbian ref of Man U getting spanked by Wolfsberg tonight would be a lesson on how it is done to many English referees at all levels in our game.

Tractor boys away in the cup, looks hard, maybe not so, and if we lose bravely there will be no moaning. Strange the road to winning the cup pack in 2008 started for Pompey at Portman Road, we shall see.

Hi Chris, not the best cup draw, but we should be able to “concentrate on the league” after it.
Richard seems to have disappeared, and nobody else found their way through the minefield of registration. I’m almost missing FFF !
