This is not aimed at a particular poster on here, but to anyone or everyone that thinks that Emery is not good enough or hasn’t shown any improvement.I came across a thread somewhere not on this site, and it was actually liked by many fellow goons saying that this team literally hasn’t improved this season, and that the fans wouldn’t mind even if we finished 5th or 6th and went trophyless as long as we showed improvement. And that Emery is not the man to take us forward.Ok,from what I know there are actually many people that feel this way.My god,I’m not insulting anyone here but the amount of clueless fans we have.I say clueless not because they give their opinion, everyone is free to give their opinion but when you act all high and mighty and claim something but refuse to back it up with any evidence whatsoever.

Firstly,we’ve signed a manager that won the europa league 3 times with Sevilla.A team that has a decent academy and although not the finaincial caability he still won trophies with them. After he left sevilla the only really top club he’s managed is PSG.By top club I mean a team that has the squad and financial backing to win trophies.Over there he won 6/7 possible domestic trophies there.Missing out on one by 3 points in what was a freak season by monaco. He still managed to get 87 points.Granted PSG is probably the easiest job in the world where there is no competetion, you compare it with Tuchel who’s just managed to win 1 out of 3 domestic trophies.Anyways, people from PSG actually said they imporved under him the likes of mbappe.Might I add many other top players who’ve praised him throughout his career.

Secondly,Your talking about a person who’s taking over from a long stint of another manager. It can’t be more difficult to instill your philosiphy in that case.He basically inherited a terribe, imbalanced squad and had no backing whatsoever from the owner at Arsenal. You look at Moyes, who inherited a title winning squad yet finished 7th the following season. So in hindsight, this season for Emery or for any other person who would’ve taken shouldn’t really be any sort of measure to judge unless we have performed extremely poorly which we haven’t.

Lastly, coming back to the thread I was talking about.Apparently there hasn’t been any improvement from last season. We are literally finishing on more points than last season, still in the Europa league and were anyways out of other competetions early on last season as well. But from what I just stated, there has been a literal improvement. You have to keep in mind Wenger arguably had a better squad, with Sanchez and peak Ozil. What Emery has had to deal with our highest paid player in Ozil who he dosen’t trust and rightly so.He’s had to drop probably our best player ramsey many games because he was anyways leaving and Emery wanted to see how we fair without him which as it proves out absolute shite.

Sure,Emery has made mistakes but who wouldn’t.His only crime however has been for keeping us in the top 4 race for so long.Maybe he shouldn’t have, because clueless fans think he bottled it.No,this terrible, imbalanced squad bottled it he dosen’t even have players for a plan B.This is not a viera or henry we’ve signed,it’s a proven top manager. And sadly we will never find out how good he could be for us because he will never get the right backing from the person who’s most culpable – STAN KRONKE.
So pls get behind the manager, and point your finger at the person who dosen’t give a flying f*ck about the club – STAN KRONKE.

Might i also add,on the same thread it was also mentioend that Emery also plays boring negative football.oh,you couldn’t make that shite up.I mean you couldn’t make a more false statement. You ask any neutral and they’ll tell you that Arsenal have probably been the most entertaining to watch because your guaranteed goals on both ends of the pitch.Emery has focused more on the attack because that’s where out strength lies. This season has been basically about outscoring the opposition.Because Emery probably realised no matter what he tries this terrible defense will leak goals. It’s ditto to what Klopp did when he first joined Liverpool, until he signed Van dijk and his whole game plan changed. Will we ever see that at Arsenal? From little to no backing from the owner – Probably not!

TBF I asked the question on the other thread. If by some miracle we get in the champions league (and I guess if we do it by winning a European trophy then emery becomes a legend right?) is emery still the manager to get us back to the top. I think it’s a fair point. I won’t criticise Emery too much although I think he is culpable for our disastrous end to the season. The question is whether he is a league winning manager. If he isn’t then surely we need to be clear that our expectations are to get 4th at best. And then I would argue what’s everyone moaning about. We can’t have it both ways.

No manager will help Arsenal win the title with this team. Its the quality of the defence that is the worst we have had in years. All of them except Sokratis is Wengers. Its no coincidence that the last two seasons has been the worst in history in defending.

Kroenkes goal has always been top 4 nothing else. Thats what the ambition has been for years how that can have escaped any fan is beyond me.

You cant listen to what they say only look at how they act, as actions speak more than words.

madmax – Fair question, and i did say A couple of weeks ago deep inside even though i support my team because i love the sport I’m past caring about a CL qualification. You ask if Emery is the right man to take us forward should we qualify for the CL?Well to be honest,he’s the right man to take us forward with or without qualifying for it.His cv suggests that.Added to the fact he’s kept un in the top 4 race for so long and also Still(not for long) in the Europa league considering we easily, easily have the worst squad amongst the top six.Is he culpable for the disastrous end?Ofcourse but I’d also put it mostly down the the poor quality and options available to him.I also want people to notice how pathetic we look without Rambo which has been proved towards the end of the season that he was by far and away our most imporant player.

Muffler – Kronke dosen’t even care about top four.To sum it up,he dosen’t care at all. He’s just invested in shares because he knows due to the stature of this club the value of his shares will increase no matter what. For goodness sake he dosen’t even attend games. The fans choose to be powerless against him.

I don’t think people understand what direction we’re headed in.Sure I’d like to be optimistic but there is simply no hope at this club, not with this current owner. This club and the fans are very pro-active.I mean most don’t even realise it’s because of Kronke we’re in this postion.Sack emery?get the next manager who’ll probably do a poorer job. Then what?Sack him as well. When will the majority realise to take the necessary action against kronke?
