So our club and certain players have sunk to the lowest they can go, helped by an inept manager. i never wanted pardew but there wasnt much out their , this team has no respect for the club the supporters or them selves. Those of you out there who still think we can get out of this mess are not realistic. a manger who still doesnt know his best formation or team , 7points adrift, we wont beat huddersfield next week, wake up smell the coffee we are down!!!. pardew wont play the youngsters he will continue with the old guard ,experience, we should be experimenting with our youngsters ,lets see who can step up , apparently we have an incredible acadamy so much talent,. but question we should be asking who will be the next manager? no doubt in my mind pardew will be sacked once were down , he will get a nice payout 6 months into a 30 month contract ,sack hammond now. frustrated angry at how were being run.

You are right. Fire Pardew and get McKinness…even if we go down, which is what we deserve, he can rebuild a new Albion.

McInnes turned down Rangers so what makes you think he’ll want to come here. His record in the Champs was poor and while he may be doing well in the SP it’s way below the standard of the Prem. The same applies to the Swedish top flight and Potter.

Pardew is a decent man who really has no idea how to cope with the present situation. He looks like the rabbit in the headlights. But he is not to blame for it, that rests squarely with the previous manager and some players. But if he can’t cope with it he has to go. His mistake yesterday was picking all the players involved in taxi-gate. Why? Evans’ heart is no longer with the club, Barry is almost past it, Livermore is injured anyway but is vastly over-rated, and surely we have another goalie who can sit on the bench. What has Field got to do to get a full game in midfield? If Gibbs isn’t fit, Nyam or Brunt could have done no worse than Evans did yesterday at left-back? I don’t think we’re going to get out of this, not with chaos in the boardroom and on the pitch with a manager who obviously can’t cope. The only possibility is that we develop a siege mentality and the players make a collective resolve to prove everybody wrong but I don’t feel that the players have anything collective about them. I feel sorry for Foster, Dawson, Hegazi, Rondon and Rodriguez who seem to realise that their responsibility is to give it their best (in effort if not always in quality) every game.

That might be the case atm Ciaran but I’ve read that the players wages will be halved if we go down and I’d imagine that would also apply to the manager. Add to that the new owner is not going to be pleased about the situation and is unlikely to splash the cash! Would you want to manage a newly relegated team when your current team is likely to be in the Europa League next season and probably future seasons.

I’ve said before that the transfer talk around Evans has had a huge impact on his performances, but when one of your best players has an attitude problem, and he clearly has, it also affects others around him. Full marks for Hegazi, Dawson, Foster, Rondon & one or two others for giving it their all, but this league is unforgiving if some aren’t pulling their weight. I think Pardew has had long enough to work out the best line up, but as he’s still getting it wrong, you have to question if he is really up to it. There have been some glimmers of hope in that Pardew significantly improved our attacking approach, but luck & time have been against him, so I expect he’ll soon be on his way. I haven’t a clue about who should come in. I guess it’s a decision to wait until we are definitely down, but looks like we’ll need somebody with Championship experience.

The latest betting suggests ‘Arry (as in Redknapp) could be brought in to see if he could save us like he did with Brum last season. Don’t know what to think about that.

i hope we dont bring in rednapp, or hughes ,we need someone whos credible, maybe a young manager untried or hey what about a legend JOHN WILE, with megson alongside him , now that might raise a few eyebrows. theres not much out there to be honest, its scary , i think the owner will sack pardew , maybe darren moore till end of the season. it seems our beloved club goes from one crisis to another, disorganised from board to players to an inept pardew. you could take any supporter theyd do a better job managing the baggies. hopefully we wont do a wolves go from premier to 2nd division in consecutive seasons. i think we will struggle in the championship!!! boing boing

Listen, Pardew is manager, support him till we (or he) goes. Are you not adding to the noise around the club rather than everyone pulling together. Don’t undermine the rest of the season just yet. If we go down then have your say at the end of the season but in the meantime lets all give our best to the effort to stay in the premier league, division will won’t help! COYB

I think you’re right. It’s just that many of us were disgusted with what happened in Spain and were shocked to find the players concerned in the line up for the cup tie. We are allowed to ask questions surely. As it was a cup tie and we stood very little chance of winning the cup, now was the perfect opportunity to play Field instead of Barry, the Egyptian instead of Evans, an academy goalie on the bench and perhaps Brunt at Left-back. I know McClean had one of his better games but it would have been nice to see Burke or Leko given a run out. These players are getting no chance even in a team that is hitting a playing and a disciplinary crisis. Why why why have we got an academy???

And to add to my previous post, what is going through the minds of Field, Leko, Burke and even Gnab. Field in particular must have thought he’d get a game after Barry’s indiscipline particularly as in the league game against Southampton what we lacked more than anything was a youthful and fast presence in midfield. Surely the young guy must be pretty despondent as he sees every team sheet and looks in vain for his own name, particularly when the results are appalling and the discipline among some senior players even moreso. Could you blame him if he decided to try his luck elsewhere?

I’m beginning to think the same. Pardew hasn’t a clue. He constantly picks the same team that have lost instead of trying something different. It seemed to me today that some players couldn’t be bothered, probably because they’ll be off in the summer. Pardew has to go and also whoever was responsible for choosing him. Maybe Marco Silva as replacement. I can’t think of any managers with the initials JC cause that’s what we need now! My main concern is whether to ditch Sky Sports now or hope for a miracle.

I agree. Pardew wasn’t the man. I think his final capitulation was playing the ones who dragged Albion’s name through the mud in Spain. I see today Livermore was back.
Evans has gone right down the pan and was largely to blame for H’field’s second killer goal. All four of them should have been suspended. Discipline is one of the most important qualities at a club and since Spain Albion have had none. Pardew is seen as erak and totally lacking in inspiration by fans and players alike. The other Egyptian should’ve played instead of Evans, Field instead of Barry and Burke and Leko given chances. Now we have a demoralised and rudderless first team, disillusioned younger player and a manager justifiably under the most intense pressure. Pardew should go now and someone be brought in on a three months contract and let’s see if he can do better. And before people start bemoaning the sacking of Pulis, he was the one who started this decline in the last ten games of last season and the first seventeen of this with only two scary wins to lighten the gloom. Pardew was brought in to arrest the slide – which has singularly failed to do. He’s lost whatever plot there was. He has to go.

remember who steaded the ship when pulis went and tied totenham and i think livepool away, who brought field into the team , who had the team playing like a team , yes that man MEGSON,id of liked toof seen him given the reigns untill the end of the season, but it wasnt to be.ive no doubt theyl sack pardew by sunday, he cant continue but whos out there that would want to come to the ALBION. no one in their right mind , its a disaster as a club, i cant see mcinnes or potter coming here or silva to be honest and god help us if rednapp comes in or hughes, no one comes to mind except MEGSON. Albion through and through let him steer the ship through last ten games. then look around for a new manager, and yes the pole will go ,chadl , barry, evans , mclean nyom hopefully, but look whos out there axcademy wise kane def field mid leko , f tulloch f, burke and several others. id rather see us go with youth and some experienced heads then stick with experience. sad day for sure cant blame fans for walking out or booing. theyve put up with alot this year

I think to give Pardew his due he got a 0-0 at Anfield. Strange that with hardly any achievements to his name, he’s managed a win and a draw at Anfield where Liverpool have proved so impregnable and prolific this season.

If anybody else says bring back Megson I’ll go and support the dingles. He’s worse than Pulis. Defensive minded and has the man management skills of a dead sheep! Just because he got us into the Prem 15 years ago doesn’t make him great.

Interesting about Pardew’s record against Liverpool since he’s been with us. Also, in the cup game against them, don’t forget that Evans also gave Liverpool a very early lead because he was far too lazy to deal with a situation that should never have been a problem. I’m convinced that Evans’ attitude is a major reason of our current position. I don’t like Pardew, and I don’t really rate him, but I think he’s only a small part of the problem. The mess he inherited from Pulis ran quite deep.
