Just read an article about Roy Hodgson and Ray Lewington involved with training WBA youngsters. Wouldn’t mind having him back although he probably wouldn’t be too keen with our current squad of has-beens!

The worst thing the FA ever did was taking Roy away to manage England, a disaster for Roy, for England and for the Baggies. Roy had stabilised us and made us into an attractive mid-table team. He presumably would have stayed here as long as he stayed at Palace and we’d have avoided Irwin, Pulis, Pardew and Ismail. Talking of old managers, Ranieri has been appointed manager of Watford and I’d rather have Roy than Ranieri. And I think Roy would like the challenge of expunging Ismail’s kickball from the Hawthorns and moulding the players into a promotion-chasing team. Ah well, it won’t happen. Pundits will say we’re third in the league but won’t have noticed the rubbish we’ve served up to somehow get there. But we can but dream.

Baggies supporters spend most of their lives dreaming. We can’t afford anything else!

Why do we have youngsters at WBA?They never get a chance to show themselves at the first team and later they are sold or given away to other clubs and we take in poor loanies who are not better than our youngsters.Norway baggie

Three of them seem to be thriving at Villa. We just don’t know how to treat them.
