Firstly great to see you mate. Been a while and hope you are doing OK.

CHO playing under 23s tonight and should be in contention to at least be on the bench thereafter with match fitness the thing I guess. Still hasn’t signed up a new contract either, even after being offered 200k per week. No one seems to have any up to date news on that one but assuming we may lose him for free once we get to the January window.

RLC as I understand it is doing some light training and hoped to be back in about a month. Here to be corrected re RLC though.

This article was written three weeks back so from what it says RLC should be on the cusp of returning to training.

    Good stuff 67.

Positive news on both Callum and Reece.

Back with an assist for Callum but what he did with the fans after the game was probably just as important.

Let’s get it done now and Reece signed up to a longer deal too!

999 sadly we lost him, Morrison, Hendrix, Joplin and so many others in the prime of their music careers, we probably missed out on a lot of great music. I personally have well over 3000 original downloaded numbers on my phone alone. Plus of course nowdays you get free listening music stations of your choice.

67, is right wrong thread but Blaze’s original post was very amusing and worth sharing on this thread.

“I believe the issue with CHO is he wants to lead the team out in every game wearing a crown and a flowing robe.”

My reply below drew blazes response

    Blaze, 😂😂😂😂. Brilliant mate.

Well Freddie did but that was at the end of Queen gigs.

Blaze is right though we’ve lost so many music greats before their time Kurt Cobain’s 25th Anniversary last April just one of too many to mention.

Of course Kurt Cobain, Also Steve Marriott was tragically kiiled in a fire at home. But on the home front I think Pulsic had a slight knock so it’s good he hever came on, the competition is hotting up as injured players start to come back. Frank is going to really need man management skills to keep everyone happy cause everyone wants to play. Noone believes another player is better than himself unless it’s Messi.

Blaze, yes Marriott was a fantastic talent terrible way to die.

As you rightly say some nice problems coming up for Frank to deal with.

Be great for him to have a full squad to choose from I’m not sure any young Manager has had such a tough start to his PL managerial career as Frank and so far whatever has been thrown at him he’s taken in his stride.

We can probably cover the loss of Kante v Newcastle but the next 3 games after that are much more challenging starting with Ajax away in the CL.

Kovacic limps off v Wales. Bad news as he’s the natural replacement for Kante. No immediate impact but Ampadu went off too.

Hopefully Rudiger is fit for the Newcastle game if not to start then to be on the bench.

I saw Reece James play in midfield for Wigan v Bristol City at Ashton Gate and he was very impressive we may have to mix and match.

Internationals are all part of football always have been always will be, the good news is that Michy scored again for Belgium. Cheers All 999

I do not suppose I am the only one very cross about the continuous injuries Chelsea players get when on international duty. I am not sure why, but the level of injuries is much worse than for club football and it has been going on for years (see Michael Essien). I would not mind if they did away with international football, it would certainly help to solve the climate crisis with the flights players and supporters take.

Is there any news about our injured players, the existing (Rudiger, Emerson) or the newest ones due to international matches (James, Kanté, Christensen, Kovacic) ?
