Devon I have some memories of the late 80s to early 90s, was young back then. One thing I remember in that period, was Reublic Of Ireland giving England some really tough games.

Anybody else think that may have been a cheeky wee punch by Cavajal? Can’t see any other form of contact and the lad is a Spainish international so wouldn’t put it past him. Would be good to see another angle of it

Whenever Kane plays against a decent side for England, he is always non-existent.

Kane as usual when England play decent teams did very little but then again he got little service from England’s major weakest point the midfield. Most refs would have also blown up the late disallowed goal cause if you go under the keeper that makes him fall over you it nearly always goes in the keepers favor even if it’s unintentional as it appeared to be. Kanes critisim of the official showed him up in poor light.

Rather disappointing but was a clear foul on de Gea. In any event Spain were far better which i found a bit surprising.

anyone else see Sergio Ramos try to accidentally ‘clip’ Jordan Pickford as he ran to celebrate the second Spanish goal?

I’m sure there was no intent!!

International football… just suspends the joy of the premier league and everyone gets really upset.. Curse you international football for delivering a great world cup and then dross on the first international meeting of teams following the WC…

Roll on Thursday when players return to their clubs.

wish they would do away with them, hold a qualifying tournement the year before each major event inthe summer and leave the leagues alone

Blaze if that was a foul on De Gea then we might as well give goalkeepers a 5 yard radius which no opposing player can enter. Welbeck barely touched him.

Do we really need a secondary european competition dragging on all season and starting just two months after the Euros finished. It’s a thoroughly shit idea

I am with you Tom, keepers well over protected, but that was especially soft.

I thought this new international league thing was created to stop meaningless friendlies?
