Is Shaw finished as a first choice LB?

    No need to put an unnecessary pressure on Williams, he’s still young and will do well as a backup in the premier league, let him start all other competitions and if he does well then maybe we can start talking about a replacement for Shaw next season…this season is too soon for him, let him just enjoy his games without any pressure

    You’re definitely right libanski, at the same time the major gripe most young English players seem to have with the PL is that they don’t get enough game time. It’s why Sancho went to Germany and others have and will follow. The larger PL clubs are going to have to come to terms with the fact that if the don’t play their gifted young players then those players will leave. Just see how Bayern were chasing Hudson-Odoi over the summer. Tahith Chong is looking at a move to Juve, if we don’t play these kids then they’ll leave. If they’re not good enough then sell them but if they are, then we have to give them game time.
