What positions and who do you think we should go for ?
VvD at southampton is the obvious one.But all the other
top clubs might be after him ?
Fonte. Also southampton might be a shorter term option ?
Otamendi has gone backwards in the last few months. As bad
as Kolorov imo.I think Zaba would do a better job at CB
To put Toisin in with Stones might be a bridge too far ?
Given the big games we’ve got coming up?
Need two.But I don’t think we’ll sign anyone?
I like Cedric (RB) at Southampton or
Elseid Hysaj at Napoli
Álex Grimaldo (LB) at Benfica has been linked
Midfield Anchor/destroyer ala Kante
Carvalho from Sporting
We’ve been linked with a Kasper Dolberg 19 year old Ajax striker.
But we need a more proven back up imo.December 8, 2016 at 2:10 pm #1357912
Forgot about the Goalie.Easy Solution
just by the Southamton back five 🙂

Not convinced about the keeper, probably on VvD would do and maybe enough until the summerDecember 8, 2016 at 7:25 pm #1358359
Keeper, two fullbacks and centre back. Exactly the same as pre-season. To me thats a worry and a blind spot.December 9, 2016 at 11:53 am #1359244
Any names sir ?December 9, 2016 at 2:22 pm #1359517
Not really. I dont know enough about European teams.
There must be so e decent fullbacks about and the Soton CB maybe ok.
He wont change Bravo though.December 9, 2016 at 2:30 pm #1359523
I also have a strange feeling we will not sign anybody until the summerDecember 11, 2016 at 8:43 am #1361650
No one is going to sell those kind of players in January…big clear out in the summerDecember 11, 2016 at 8:58 am #1361662
I’ve got a feeling after yesterday. We’ll buy two or three?
If we don’t.Forget top four.It’s a simple as that.December 11, 2016 at 10:01 am #1361764
It’s often acknowledged that it’s hard to buy in the winter. Haven’t a clue who City can pick up this time but if you look back at what happened in recent years then maybe it would be helpful if we could pick up a Shay Given, Wayne Bridge, NdJ, (a young) Viera, Craig Bellamy and even Edin Dzeko. Some arrived with baggage but did a job – definitely not sure about an AJ and/or Wilfred Bony though….December 11, 2016 at 10:28 am #1361830
Danny Rose as the Alaba style playerDecember 12, 2016 at 7:29 am #1363747
The main targets got to be the defence.
We got Gabriel Jesus Comming in and doubt we Will get a Toni Kroos like player in the window. But why not look at loans until the seasons ends brazil always got good quality wingbacks maybe try to Loan a talanted Guy with a future buy option.
Don’t have any names But the ones Allready mentioned. But Toni Kroos is a player i really really think Will fitt right in But never availible in januaryDecember 12, 2016 at 5:07 pm #1365199
Danny Rose is a good shout. But I can’t see Spurs selling
mid season.December 12, 2016 at 6:08 pm #1365295
so many needed but who in Jan? Perhaps any champs league drop outs?
Otherwise it’s back to the future with kolorav, old father sagna and Marty Mcfly in net.December 14, 2016 at 3:04 pm #1369327
I can’t see there being wholesale changes – I suspect we will get a centre half if the right one is available
I think the Txiki comment the other day was a little bit of a smoke screen, but I just can’t see us going out with a huge shopping list in Jan.December 14, 2016 at 3:11 pm #1369354
Not much chance of additions but we do need a defender to replace Kompany at leastDecember 14, 2016 at 4:11 pm #1369597
Pep tends to like to find the player to solve the problem, generally from within like with Lahm playing CDM or Rafinha right back, but from what we’ve seen so far, the solutions arent available within, so we may see more movement in January than we are used to!December 20, 2016 at 8:36 am #1380721
Andrew Robertson (LB) at Hull might be an option ?December 20, 2016 at 9:29 am #1380802
Especially as I think he might be out of contract
in the summer 2017?December 20, 2016 at 9:59 pm #1382053
Another target signs a new deal with his current club.
First linked with a move to Manchester City in January.
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl has been one
of the more persistently linked players throughout the
However, despite the rumours of a move to the Etihad
never going away, the 21-year-old pass master today
renewed his contract with BVB until 2021.
