George Glendon has signed permanently for Fleetwood Town.
The 21-year-old has been on loan at the club since August and has
impressed in his time there, making 16 appearances.
Glendon had been with City since the age of five and was a key
player for City’s EDS last season captaining the side.
Wythenshawe-born Glendon’s loan spell was due to end this
month but he has penned an 18-month deal for an undisclosed
fee and the club has the option for an extra year.
Since joining the Cod Army back in August he has impressed
fans winning fans Player of the Month in December.
Former Blue and Fleetwood Town head coach Uwe Rosler
told the club’s website: “We are delighted to make that
loan move permanent.
