I saw a £50m plus cash, i would rather ask someone who is not a winger. But flip the coin, what if we lose both Hazard and CHO which is looking like a likely scenario and Willian throws the toys? Seems like there is a universal approval here that Willian should be sold at every opportunity only a handful if any oppose it. If we are to demand something we should demand Dembelle. Why? Because we are not sure of Hazard, Willian and CHO beyond this current campaign. So getting Dembelle and a £20m isn’t a bad deal. But this could be our last opportunity to get rid of him. I’m afraid we will be trapped with him.

Hard to believe that we are looking to spend a £50m on Wilson? Have we become that generous team? After spending a £70m on that good for nothing Morata. Why are we never learning from our previous mistake? Mark my words, if we buy Willson, we will be buying another Batshuayi.

“Willian has been a Barcelona target in the past, on more than one occasion, but Chelsea are not believed to be interested in letting him go for Malcom plus a sum of cash which would value the deal at around £50 million.” Daily Telegraph today.

£50m plus Malcolm who they must value at £30m for a player who will be 31 in August and in the last year of his contract even we’re not that daft to offer circa £80m for someone like Willan!!!!!!

Then throw into the mix that Malcolm has been a problem player at Barca and has had his mental state questioned.

It’s not going to happen because the Club have very wisely turned it down and Malcolm is a player we don’t need anyway.

£50m cash offer for Willian though now that’s another story!

Bournemouth have set a 70m price tag on Wilson with Chelsea reportedly only prepared to offer 50m. Today, Howe stated that as far as he is concerned the player is not for sale so end of…!!

And that is the problem we or any team faces. I read today that the Cagliari lad we are looking at has stated he does not want to leave Italy in January so regardless of whom you target it is not until official negotiations can start that you find the brick walls in place to stop the transfer progressing which cannot be seen as our mistake…!! 50m or is it 30m plus a young star for a 31 year old completely out of form player, I cant believe this is true and in addition it would be madness to let HOD go and retain Willian for far more tosh that has been allegedly offered. If that happens then I dont know anymore either. Maybe they desperate to get rid of Malcolm but then take the money and let them keep Malcolm or loan him out.

Bit more logical thought required guys firstly Barca were never going to offer circa £80m for Willian given his age and one year left on his contract and having paid £100m for Dembelle Barca aren’t about to throw him into a makeweight deal for Willian of Dembelle plus £20m!!!!!

Given that Willian is offering us very little at the moment and had been in that state for most of his Chelsea career. I would be tempted to cash him. Even if it means getting Malcom. Not long ago Malcom has been one of the hottest properties in Europe. He is almost a decade to the junior of Willian. He will have room for improvement. And guess what? He wasn’t given a proper chance at Barca. Players change clubs to resseruct their career. We have a large Brazillian contigent at the club which will make him easy to settle. A £40m plus Malcom is not a bad deal. We know how we struggle to replace players when we sell them. So Malcom gives us a replacement.

Of all the strikers we’ve been linked with I don’t think any are suitable they are either not very gettable or not sensible buys.

Higuain is massively complicated, very expensive and will have a short shelf life despite the fact that he might score the goals to get us into the CL and Sarri wants him.

At the other end of the scale Icardi won’t move in January whilst Wilson even at £50m is overpriced and allegedly Bournemouth want £70m for him as reluctant sellers.

I would keep our powder dry until the Summer now and bring back Tammy and or Michy as a stop gap who knows it might even work out.

Given that Chelsea have rejected the Barca bid for Willian involving Malcolm I can’t see it happening without Barca sweeten the offer with a player Chelsea might want or they make it a £50m pure cash offer.

Daily Mail updated report just come out “Chelsea want straight cash for Willian and because he only has 18 months remaining on his contract, they would be tempted by an offer of £50m.

So let’s get this straight – Chelsea rejected a player-plus-cash bid worth £50m for Willian, but they would consider £50m in cash.” Daily Mail.

Sarri on the January transfer window and on what we need ” As you know very well I am not in control of the transfer market. In my opinion we need two players, but then it is up to the club.”

WHy are Barca so keen to sell Malcolm who they signed just six months ago? Not sure he is what the club need.

Chelsea are quoted as saying that Malcolm would not improve the squad which is why we are not interested. Reports continue to indicate we are in talks for a loan for Higuain but Juve want a straight deal

It seems that Michy is due back bit not sure if Sarri would be tempted to use him or not. Against Spurs, Giroud was not match fit but obviously on the road to recovery and today Sarri states that Morata trained with the squad so should be fit for tomorrow. Unless there is a decent deal to be had then I can see us staying with what we have plus possibly using Michy…? KTBFFH

I don’t think Chelsea will sign Higuain despite Sarri’s obvious liking for him. The deals too rich too complicated and he’s too old. For all of those reasons I don’t think the Club will sanction it.

A loan until the end of the season wouldn’t be a bad option but none of Higuain, Milan or Juve will agree to that.

Sarri has confirmed today he would like to make two more signings in January one of which is obviously a striker. Be very difficult imo as all the striker options are poor, too expensive or unavailable.

Sarri says it is “impossible” for Willian to leave Stamford Bridge this month.

    We’ve missed out on Gabbadini.😊

    999 Gabbiadini LOL.
Let’s just not spend too much effort on striker search by calling Tammy back. I know it’s a big gamble. But I think if we miss top 4 with Morata, Giroud or even Higuain, we’d better miss it with Tammy. The lad is young, is on-fire in Championship. I know that Bamford was very good before in Championship and now I don’t even think he is a regular in his club (Leeds?). But if signing a striker from outside is so time-consuming and complicated, and the strikers we have either aren’t good enough either aren’t motivated enough: why don’t just we take advantage of our loan system?

I understand that Chelsea have until January 14th to decide whether to call Tammy back. Before it’s too late, let’s just do it IMO.

Willian + Malcolm: not in January. OK for summer. Barrolo seems staying at Cagliari, so Cesc’s deal is still hanging on finding a replacement

The Club confirm Cesc’s departure to Monaco I suspect we will beg announcing a replacement signing shortly.

Lovely farewell video from Cesc to the fans.

Thanks for the memories Cesc seeing you play up close and in the flesh in a Chelsea shirt on the Stamford Bridge pitch was always a privilege.

BBC Sport understands Monaco have not paid a fee for Fabregas but will pay ‘bonuses’ to Chelsea linked to his performances.

So there was no transfer fee, Chelsea could receive nothing at the end? A weird deal IMO.

    Willian’s record this season.

    Apps(Subs) Goals
    2018/2019

    Chelsea 20(2) 2

Simply not good enough. These statistics do not lie. Thought he had been ordinary. Time to accept the money on offer and move on.

Malcom is rather odd, a little unhinged. Not what the club needs.

    Personal life
Malcom’s father named him after the African American activist Malcolm X.[6]

In July 2015, state authorities in São Paulo discovered a fraud scheme when it was revealed that Malcom had obtained his driving licence – which usually takes three months of practice – only twenty days after his 18th birthday.[31]

Malcom received criticism for his social media actions at Bordeaux: in September 2017 he posed for a photo with opponent Neymar after a heavy loss to Paris Saint-Germain,[6] and three months later he and his compatriot teammates recorded a light-hearted video outside the stadium after a defeat

“Chelsea are prepared to accept Bayern Munich’s offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi if they agree to insert a buy-back clause into the transfer, according to reports. The German champions have made no secret of their desire to bring the teenager to Bavaria and have already made four bids, the latest of which reached £35million. Chelsea want to keep Hudson-Odoi but are conscious that he only has 18 months left on his current contract and has threatened not to extend his deal if Bayern’s offer is rejected. Sarri does not want to lose Hudson-Odoi and has given him a bigger role recently (Getty) But The Times claim Chelsea are now prepared to let the 18-year-old move to Bayern on the condition that a buy-back clause is included in the deal. ”

Be very disappointing to lose CHO but it’s a tough one for the Club if CHO heads been turned and with only 18 months to go on his contract but at least now there’s a bit more nous in the Club re sell on and buy back clauses being part of any sales specially important in the case of young players

999… stop making excuses for the club. They’ve known about cho talent and have failed to integrate him into the side or when Pedro or William underperform isn’t picked ahead of them which is for last two seasons.

If the club want to make a statement about their intentions, sell William and stick a massive deal down Bayern won’t want to live with to the player.

Only people to be blamed are this who pick the team and run the club in this. The club has it itself into this position. They can say no to the deal and give cho a run in the side for the next 18 months. He cost the club nothing and could help us win things.
