Which positions do you think need strengthening in January? Or are you not a fan of buying in January?

Would like United to get a CB and at least one top CM, maybe 2 if possible.

There’s definitely less value in January than in the summer. As a Man Utd fan I’m aware that clubs will hold us to ransom as they know we’re up the creek without a paddle. I’d love us to get Maddison but I fear he’ll prove too expensive, £80m-100m. He’s picked up where he left off last season so in the long run he’d probably be worth it but I’m not sure. I’d also like to look at Soyuncu, also of Leicester, I think he’s destined for great things too.

As a United fan, I’m vary of the January transfer window. We should definitely not make a marquee signing in that window. We should focus on backup players in midfield and it would also be great for the young lads upfront to get Zlatan back. It would be great for young players like Greenwood to be able to learn from such a master of the striker position on a daily basis. He would also give this team the opportunity to play differently in games especially when the opposition is parking the bus.

Would you want to leave Leicester and go to Man Utd? Leicester are flying and have a better manager.

Amz, money talks but I agree with you. Leicester are a much better side these days than Man Utd.

Money talks indeed but he just needs to look at how average United are. United need a world class manager to attract top talent as currently the only thing that is attractive about Man Utd is just their name. Plus if Madison wants champions league football, he’s probably going to get it with Leicester.

Also is it just me or can anyone else see Kane leaving Spurs for Man City in the next 2 years?

Kane isn’t all that in my opinion. If he was a top club would have come for him by now. Not sure he is a Pep type player either.

Kane is going to guarantee any club that can create half chances at least for him, 15 Prem goals a season.

    Pep would definitely have him.

Pep wouldn’t have him. He doesn’t fit into their play and he doesn’t press enough.

Nope. Lamps and the Chelsea kids are doing just fine thanks. Having Rudiger and RLC back would be like two marquee signings.

Aguero does now, he didn’t at the start but if you watch him, his work rate is right up there. Plus, he’s a far deadlier finisher than Kane ever was or will be. If he could play a full season with no injuries he’d prob be scoring nearly 30 PL goals a season.
Also, at the moment I wouldn’t be leaving Leicester for Manchester at the moment but money does talk.

I wouldn’t say he presses the defence. He may close down the defender to an extent, but he doesn’t bust a gut. Aguero and Kane are very similar. I’m not sure i agree that Aguero is deadlier. Kane has been banging in goals for ‘Spurs’, that’s a feat in itself.
Kane would get more chances at City and the goals would be more meaningful because it would end up in trophies. Also Kane has had his own injury problems the past few years.

Amz I know where you’re coming from and I’m not saying Kane is shit. But the way City play isn’t geared towards pure service towards a single player. In a way United were with Ruud, the system was geared to supply him. City don’t play that style, they play a flowing quick game which doesn’t suit Kane in my opinion.

The way spurs were playing it’s not, you’ll notice he’s not banging in on regular basis this season because Spurs aren’t playing as well as they were. I think Aguero will score no matter what team he’s in because he’s, in my opinion, the most natural finisher in the PL at the moment. Left foot, right foot, head, doesn’t matter.

it would have suited the Kane of 2-3 years ago..he was able to score wonder goals, left, right, head, link up, he was a complete striker for a few years, seems to have regressed mainly under England abut also for the spuds….think he focuses to much on the team and link up than getting goals like he used to…

Yeah i see both your points MUFC and Killyboye. I still think Kane is as good as Aguero and would bang in goals for fun for City. Pep would make him in to a better player than he currently is.

Don’t forget Kane hasn’t even reached the prime age of around 28 yrs old.

If Kane would go to City he would probably end up destroying Shearer’s record, he could focus on being the power forward he is and City’s play is a bit one dimensional ATM. Having a big guy upfront would give them a couple of other options.
