Its great to see a manager/coach behaving on the sidelines with such dignity and controlled emotions, its so ridiculously stupid to see them jumping about, shouting and waving their hands hysterically like many of them do. lampard has had mixed success so far with Derby but his still new to the managerial game and I hope he will improve significantly to manage Chelsea one day, he has the IQ and football experience to succeed.

Agree that you do not want to see all the mad jumping up and down we see with Klopp and in his first season Conte (although most agreed he came across as a breath of fresh air). However, complete lack of emotion when your team has scored I find rather unnatural as that is the culmination of everything you have been training for all week

He knew how to celebrate when he scored so I think he could also show some of the same as the manager. Nothing wrong with pumping the fist and then returning to his statuesque like role but at least that shows his delight at what the team is achieving…?

Agree, so far he has not found the consistency and to be fair that can be also said of Mount as well. The guy getting all the plaudits recently is Timoru (?) at the back and he looks another great candidate to come and join the squad next year. However, Derby are well placed in the hunt for promotion and another couple of years under his belt and who knows how he may fare at Chelsea…? KTBFFH

Would love it if he also came back and also agree pumping your fist up in the sky is good enough without all that other silly actions like Klopp and the new Saints manager though others are also guilty of it. Conte maybe also overreacted but it wasn’t in an offensive gloating manner like so many other coaches or managers do.

Lampard once he has the necessary experience will be ideal, he still has that steely determined look in his eyes he had as a player. Can’t say in all honesty I notice that much in players today.

I read that Frank has an unusually high IQ, that I am sure would be an asset for a football manager, it helps to make sensible decisions.

Frank could be a qualified attorney. Think he just needs a refresher course and obviously needs to complete the bar exam. Highly intelligent individual as well as emotionally astute. Who can forget him calmly tearing that DOOS of a radio journo a new one after bring accused of being a poor husband and father. Frank had just lost his mum at the time. Anyway he’s got that rare academic and emotional intelligence coupled with footballing ability and experuence at the highest level. A definite future CFC manager.
