No idea about today its pray we turn up and don’t let in shit goals
April 28, 2019 at 12:56 pm #1746331FFS we just don’t want this top four. We look devoid of ideas even before AMN got sent off. Shit for brains stupid challenge when on a yellow. I just feel punch drunk with this team ! Chances of us getting away with a clean sheet are almost zero and we have no options on the bench. Pray for a Miracle we need one!
April 28, 2019 at 1:52 pm #1746345what a load of rubbish.have to say since rambo got injured we look lost
with no one driving the team forward.we have the worst defence i’ve seen
in a long time and xhaka is just plain useless.we have two of the worst
wide players in iwobi and mkht who don’t work hard enough and we look
weak in all areas.i have no doubt leichester would have still won this
game even if we had 11 because we have too many bottlers in the team.valencia will be fancying their chances and on current form i can’t see
where we can win that over two games.glad to see this season over now
and with our best player(rambo) leaving i can see many more years of
being a numbers club with pool & citeh stuffing us on a regular basis.
i wonder how long it will take before wolves & everton are above us.
3-0 down what a bunch of pathetic shit ass players we have.they don’t
deserve to be at the club.April 28, 2019 at 2:23 pm #1746357The performances over the last few weeks, basically after the napoli game have been the most gutless performances yet under Emery. We have played against teams with literally nothing to play for while we had everything to play for,yet those games were literally reversed where it looked like we were playing for nothing and they were playing for everything.A serious question of mentality. What’s laughable is that we could actually afford to drop points and still qualify. But losing against Palaca, wolves and Leicester was a real blow.Had we atleast drawn against either,or even won against won we’d be 3 points better off. There is no other term to descrbe that run other than bottle job.Yes,it’s true we shouldn’t have been anywhere near top 4 and have certainly been punching above our weight, but considering the position we were in it really is dissapointing. But it’s good because now we don’t have to pretend that we’re actually a good team which we’re not. This club needs major rebuilding.
As for today’s game, yes the tactics were wrong but our defense just went a level worse.I’ve not seen such terrible defending with all four of our defenders playing like absolute jokers.I know all four were terrible, but i never want to see Ainsley maitland niles play in an Arsenal shirt again. We were poor but he single handedly lost us the match with his decision making,he’s the worst right back I’ve ever seen play for Arsenal.Good ball player but simply terrible in defending. He has no passion,no aggression and no desire. This is what happens when you keep too much faith in young players. This club is living in the 90’s while all other clubs are in reality.I mean it when I say that,he can’t even play as a midfielder.Enough of this stupid blind faith in young players, see where it’s gotten us.Many other playerrs need to go as well but I don’t want this model to be used anymore.
April 28, 2019 at 4:51 pm #1746429Faith in youth?? What youth are you talking about? Apart from AMN and Guen there aint much youth. The problem is not youth the problem is that we have too much crap in the team.
As for the sending off it was ridicoulous by Oliver as he was looking for it. AMN is no defender even if Emery and Wenger want him to be. I looked for a leader and to be honest did not see anyone with that skillset.
The thing is that we are moving towards becomming some sort of Ajax buy talent cheap but the problem with that is that the best cost the same as top class players.
So unless we make some complete turnaround and make a big overhaul I dont see anything changing.
I actually thought we might have beaten Palace but i did expect us to loose to Wolves, Everton and Leicester, we should have lost to Watford as well but hot lucky. Why because they are mentally weak.
April 28, 2019 at 8:39 pm #1746537muffler – Oh Please,Arsenal’s model is hugely based on recruiting young players and relying on them to be hits which almost never happens anymore.Yes,we make the odd signings by spending some money but it is nowhere near enough because the competetion around us is just very tough. Our model is flawed,it’s no wonder why we have changed the whole structure with emery simple being given the title of coach. He has limited decision making. When you see a structure like that change,it basically means the owner has no intention to splash the cash at all,but tell me something I didn’t know.No other top team would sign a player like Guendozi at 18 yrs and give him the run of games this club has. That is just one example I’m giving.I raised this point earlier on in the season but was accused by some numpties(who are gone for good) for being unfair on an “18 year old”(thank god they’re not the manager).
Emery is punching above his weight, with this pathetic squad we shouldn’t even be in the top 4 race. There’s only one person to blame and it’s Kronke. It was the beggining of the end for this club when he took full ownership.I can see nothing changing. We still might be 5th but if anything is confirmed over the past few weeks it’s that were on Everton,Wolves and Lecister’s level.Next season we’ll be contesting for 7th with them.I warned this would happened and it did.
April 28, 2019 at 9:01 pm #1746542As for the AMN red card. The first one was not a yellow card.90% of refs would never give a yellow card for that in the first ten mins.It wasn’t blatant and it wasn’t a lunge. But you know why we were a man down for most of the game? The first foul of the game Maddison shouts at the ref where’s the card. The atmosphere is very loud at Leicester and the ref has gotten influenced very easily. The second one AMN just gives an oppurtunity to the ref.I saw the challenge again and the ref didn’t even see the challenge perfecty,it was maddison’s pathetic reaction that made the ref’s decision.Pathetic.And AMN instead of being angry for throwing the game away he goes to maddison and simply says it wasn’t a foul.Where’s the anger and dissapointment for single handedly giving away the game in him?It isn’t there and that’s why he dosen’t deserve to be wearing the shirt.
Yet,when I say that at times like those you need to be on the ref’s side,we need to appeal for decision because the crowd is already on their side.We need leadership yet according to some people on here it dosen’t matter. But they come complaining when decisions go against us.You can’t have it both ways.Refs are humans who can easily be infeluenced.Hamza choudhury went in two footed into torreiras chest early on in the game, yet no Arsenal player bought it to the ref’s attention. There were many other instances where the ref should’ve gotten out a yellow for leicester players but when you have the crowd constantly whistling at you it makes it difficult to make the right decision.
April 28, 2019 at 9:25 pm #1746546Come on of course i know we are about promoting youth but when there is hardly any of them in the starting lineup its hardly the reason why we constantly loose away.
We loose because we have Mustafi, Miki, Sokratis, Xhaka, and more shit on the bench. Its everywhere and all over the place in the club. So saying stop playing youth well what should we the play when the so called experienced players are not any better?
Its not one issue its several issues at this club so pointing the finger at youth when that clearly is not the main issue today is making it simple.
We cant compete for the best players and we cant compete for the best young players so we buy crap or take high risk on unproven talent that may or may not turn out good. We hunt for scraps as a club and that wont change.
As for the repeat from you on screaming at the ref Im not debating that anymore. You have your view I have mine.
April 29, 2019 at 9:08 am #1746593Muffler – Yes,I agree it is a cumulation of many atrocious things at the club. But I was just pointing out one of many. All I’m saying is I don’t want to see us sign anymore teenagers and put them straight into the first team.Investing, loaning and developing is fine but Arsneal don’t even know how to do that.Guendozi and AMN have gotten plenty of gametime for us this season,it probably means our squad is weak that’s why.
Saying that,Yes I agree we are the most terrible club when it comes to transfer policy and mainly wages. It’s just the general decision making that is shit.It can’t go on longer like this.I think we all or atleast some of us can agree Kronke is the main culprit. So where do we go from here?Simply stop attending games altogether,I have.I will support my team and that’s because of the love for my club and but not my filling up the pockets of men pretending to be ambitious. Also,I would like to say that if anything has also been proved in the last few games it’s that Ramsey is our most important player by far,the games he hasn’t started or played we never seem to get the points. So if I had to ask this club one questiion right now it’d be how in the world are you going to convince me that letting our best player go was the right decision,or to sign a replacement of similar quality would be cheaper than what it would’ve cost to keep ramsey. It’s unexplainable.
Our wage structure was broken but to try and start fixing it from Ramsey was as stupid a decision this club could’ve taken. How about offloading the players that don’t exactly deserve the salary they’re getting, and that goes for more than 80% of the squad.
