Expecting a 1-0 scrappy win for United.
August 7, 2018 at 9:15 pm #1662816I reckon more like a scrappy nil-nil and all you spoilt little cunts will shit your knickers.
August 8, 2018 at 1:29 am #1662840What’s really annoying you Tommy?
August 8, 2018 at 2:38 am #1662845@Wonderfuel – why is it being spoilt to expect the richest club in the world to be so strong as to give fans confidence in victory over a mid table team with a fraction of our resources.
If we were a small club I’d be happy to lower expectations but we are not. I expect performance in line with the club size & resources and “entertainment” value in line with how the club sells itself.
And I don’t think we’ve been spoilt the past 5 years. Longer if you consider the football in SAF latter years was hardly thrilling.
August 8, 2018 at 2:59 am #1662846I suspect it will be a dull cagey encounter but the players will have fresh legs and be playing on a perfect pitch in summer conditions. We’re playing at home and being the first gme of the season the crowd should be like an extra man. Leicester are not the team they were, let’s be honest they are a mid-table so our better quality should ultimately prevail.
United 2 Leicester 0
That said, with United often being unpredictable I would be surprised if it was a 4-0 cricket score or went the other way with a 1 or 2 defeat. Basically, anything could happen !
August 8, 2018 at 7:08 am #1662857Sorry Scholesy, bad day yesterday and three bottles of wine didn’t help. BUT…I find this jump straight to the most negative view possible highly irritating…especially as a lot of people are getting whipped in to a frenzy by the British media who a) despise Mourinho and b) get more clicks when united are in disarray. There’s a prick on the daily mail covered us all this summer who is blatantly just making things up for his clicks.
If people want to call out the club do so by all means…just don’t be surprised when someone comes wading in to defend us.
As to the match…I think people may be pleasantly surprised as I don’t reckon our team is anything like as bad as some of you clowns make out. 3-1 to the Manchester U’s to get our title bid off to a great start.
August 8, 2018 at 9:23 am #1662927I’m going for a comfortable 2-0 to United with Alexis netting both goals and Phil Jones cracking into the tackles at the other end to protect his first clean sheet of the season!
August 8, 2018 at 9:41 am #1662946Yeah,keep dreaming.
August 8, 2018 at 9:51 am #1662948Tommy, hope today’s better than yesterday.
I agree some of it is a bit OTT but it’s mostly down to frustration. A lot of us believe we haven’t signed the players to help us kick on to challenge the big teams. For me, it’s the boring football that I’m finding hard to accept.
Tough game to call as we don’t know who’s playing at this moment in time but going for 2-1 United.
August 8, 2018 at 9:59 am #1662951Don’t make predictions, just don’t see the point, but there’s a cloud descended over the club and, as Tommy quite rightly says, the media has latched on to it and is stirring it up right royally. If things don’t start well on Friday, it could soon get ugly and God forbid we should actually lose our first game at home to Leicester. But remember, there’ll be no Pogba, Lukaku or Matic by all accounts – the good news is there’ll be no Valencia either. If ever there was a time for Rashford or Martial to step, this is it. We’ll see.
August 8, 2018 at 11:21 am #1662997Is it because you don’t want to defend you’re crap predictions JM 😉
Would be good to see united-win-win predict as well as he’s quick to have a go at others.
August 8, 2018 at 11:49 am #1663027Don’t tell me you buy the Daily Mail Tommy? Racist, xenophobic, homophobic cunts. That shower is just as bad as the S*n
August 8, 2018 at 11:53 am #1663029Course i don’t buy it! Keep an eye on the Nazi vermin on that there internet though…I like to know how the enemy thinks.
August 8, 2018 at 1:28 pm #16630882-0 United. Think Lukaku will get one. Martial has mucked his chance at getting some games up, but hopefully we go with Rashford or Lukaku up front.
August 8, 2018 at 1:49 pm #1663098@wonderfuel gas. What kind of a plonker drinks 3 bottles of wine in one sitting?!! Unless your liver is made of leather, it’s people like you who put pressure on the NHS!
I am going for 3-0 win against Leicester. They are weak. They lost Mahrez, have had no real transfers in of consequence, and also have Maguire’s head turned. Our defence is solid and this is Old Trafford. Also, I think the players will be motivated by all the rubbish being published in the media about the club being on the verge of relegation with zero games played.
August 8, 2018 at 5:39 pm #1663223I’m predicting a 1-2 loss on this one – morale seems shattered before the season has even started and with most of the normal first team out it wouldn’t surprise me if Leicester caused an upset.
August 8, 2018 at 6:13 pm #1663229A functioning alcoholic Alfie but you’ll be glad to know I am no strain on the NHS whatsoever as my liver can cope just fine, I don’t live in England and I pay for private medical care.
Now go fuck yourself and stop being judgemental…I’ve got a wife for that.
August 8, 2018 at 7:33 pm #1663243Scholsey I don’t usually give my predictions but I’ll go for a score draw.
August 8, 2018 at 7:46 pm #1663248Hah, that’s like something out of the tzung tzu
I like your style 😉August 8, 2018 at 7:48 pm #1663249Was he not some Chinese military leader? Lol
