They only need 3 more points if Spurs win all their games.
If Chelsea pull their finger out then Leicester don’t need to kick a ball after OTThey could probably go for an attacking approach Nine this Sunday, and probably be quite relaxed, although I think Ranieri will still keep them tied to the ground professionally until the job is actually done.
With Rooney rediscovering form, and one or two of their players capable in Martial and Rashford, I still think this will be one of Leicester’s hardest of games and could end in a draw.
Depending on how Tottenham fare at Chelsea a week tonight, even a defeat wouldn’t even matter. having Everton and Chelsea to play.

If Chelsea beat Spurs the following next Monday, a defeat for Leicester at the hands of United would be academic.
If Leicester earn a point, Spurs would differently have to win at the bridge.
I think based on these permutations it would appear Chelsea and a certain Eden Hazard could have the final say.
A win of course would clinch it and poetic against a team with the most titles with a presentation at Old Trafford.
This couldn’t be a better script.

At no point this season have I allowed myself to get excited about potentially winning the league, only now do I really feel it though. I think I am like most Foxes supporters who really have had no expectations from this season. If anything it has always been about hope, not expectation. When we sacked NP and signed CR I had already resigned myself to going down. Then the magical 40 points came midway through the season and then the next goal was to make Europe, then Champions League, then top two. Now top spot is ours for the taking. I think that low level of expectation is also what has helped the players too. I can’t think of a single game this season where Leicester players have been complacent, none of them have gone out there expecting to win, they’ve gone out there with the desire to win and I think that has been the key to keeping the team grounded and taking each game at a time.
People have been asking me all season, “you’ll be gutted if you don’t win it”. My response all season has been that, sure I’d be disappointed, but never in a million years did I think we would be in this position and if we didn’t do it from here and still ended up in the Champions League I’ll be over the moon. But now, from this point I would be gutted.You can never say never in football foxyfoxes, but this dream looks more half way there in turning into a reality; it’s just truly amazing and anyone who’s a fan of football would in their DNA appreciate this fairytale of an achievement.
“We won the league at Old Trafford.” Never a moment in my life I would think Leicester City fans will have the chance to sing that. Good luck and if they pull it off nobody can really say it was undeserving.

Congrats to all the full-time and part-time Leicester fans on here, for winning the title and creating one of the greatest sporting moments in anybody’s lifetimes in any sport, truly remarkable and truly deserved!

Don’t even think Leicester require a win…..a point will suffice….especially if those Spuds drop more points against Chelsea next week. People are still debating about who deserves to win this league…it’s Leicester by a country mile. Tipped to go down at the start, they’ve just kept on winning and grinding out results when under pressure. This is the arguably the greatest accomplishment in football history. Odds of 5000-1….imagine having placed a cheeky twenty quid to win!!
One of my colleagues at work had 10 Euros at 1,500/1 here in Finland (him and his friends are always doing stupid bets!), and he’s a YooUtd fan. Wonder who his going to be cheering Saturday. Cockwomble has promised me a beer or two…

Hit the fooking woodwork 3 times before their goal, not taking anything away from WBA (by the end of the game they were worth a point to be fair!) but we should have had that sown up long before the 73 minute.

this really is unreal. I really thought leicester would cave at some stage and i think most did. Its surely over now and a true birlliant underdog story.
