Also, the next few matches City are our allies. They beat both Spurs and United and that will give us a massive opportunity to cement a top four place so why wouldn’t we cheer them on.They win both of those and they are also likely to strengthen their own title winning aspirations.April 15, 2019 at 9:50 am #1742670
I’m not sore in the slightest. I expected Liverpool to beat us if you refer back to the start of this thread. I believe Liverpool are better than Chelsea right now and City are better than Liverpool. I am sure there are many football supporters that would agree with that. Anyway, welcome and thanks for popping in.April 15, 2019 at 9:55 am #1742674
Again read my posts. There is a huge benefit to Chelsea in City winning their next two games for the obvious reasons I have mentioned. To a man or woman, EVERY Chelsea supporter on planet earth will be cheering on City and why wouldn’t they. City win those and they are pretty much home and hosed for the title as their other remaining matches are Burnley, Leicester and Brighton. Not the benefit to us of City beating Liverpool to the title but the benefit to us of both Spurs and United dropping three points and enhancing our chances of top four. So what do you reckon, what would you do? Being clubs that are both sponsored by billionaires does not even come into it Jealous Guy. Was John Lennon a Liverpool supporter too?
Great song – listenApril 15, 2019 at 10:59 am #1742707
I had a run in with some ratty Liverpool supporter on twitter at 2am whilst the match was in progress Roman. He had the last laugh but it was great banter all through the match and we left on amicable terms. It obviously wasn’t our friend Gary who throws insults and runs, as you can see with no response to my last post.April 15, 2019 at 11:05 am #1742709
Oh, and on Mo Salah, he may not be a bomber as those lunatics in Prague suggested but that was some sort of a missile he fired into the back of our net last night. What a great strike that was. Wish he was still with us. 22 goals in a supposed poor season is not too shabby and, who knows, he may still end up with 30 odd.April 15, 2019 at 12:07 pm #1742733
OK I do seem to get you a tad wrong I just thought you had affinity with LFC.
I also think that City are better team because of their full squad is so strong & are therefore still favourites to win the PL.
You state that you have more affinity to City because of the same background, is it money, money , money(wink)!!!
Blaze & Chelsea 1967, good posts.April 15, 2019 at 1:08 pm #1742762
hmmmm i ive no affiniation to Chelsea….but then i have no affiniation to Pool…..FIGHT!!!! Release the badgers!April 15, 2019 at 1:08 pm #1742763
Liverlad, my affinity with Liverpool is growing up seeing the great Liverpool teams dominate football they are part of my football heritage mate and my youngest was a Liverpool fan too until he saw the light.😊
What I said was of all the other PL Clubs I have most affinity with City because of where they came from which was a dark place just like Chelsea.
Obviously money played it’s part for both of us but Chelsea were on the floor at one stage and almost without a ground and at one stage slipping into the third tier so our histories are quite similar.
City are marginally still favourites to win the title with the bookies but imo it’s too close to call if City win all of their remaining games they will retain the title but it’s a big ask given the number of games in their legs and Spurs at home and United away to come. As I said I have a feeling that this might be Liverpool’s season. But we’ll see. Anyway try and enjoy it my personal experience of PL title run ins is that you don’t enjoy them until thir over and you’ve hopefully won it.All the best.999April 15, 2019 at 1:12 pm #1742767

Fair play 999 but pls get Marshy to delete RDP’s post on the Pool site which was uncalled for.April 15, 2019 at 1:15 pm #1742770
I still remember the ghost goal that wrongly knocked us out of the CL and gave the Scousers an undeserved win, so for that reason alone I will absolutely LMAO when they come up short against City.April 15, 2019 at 1:17 pm #1742772
Kopite, you need to petition Marshy to do that mate my moderating responsibilities begin and end with the Chelsea site. But I saw it and winced.April 15, 2019 at 1:18 pm #1742773
The only problem with deletions is that anyone reading my posts would think I was going barmy talking to no one because all continuity is gone 🙂April 15, 2019 at 1:22 pm #1742774
True 67 but rather that than some of what was going on and I suspect most Weill guess something’s happened and then there’s my post confirming it.

I was referring to RDPs post where he threatened to wind us up.April 15, 2019 at 2:35 pm #1742806
Kopite, as far as I am aware I’ve deleted all unhelpful posts on the Chelsea site following yesterday’s game be they blue or red. Any posts on the Liverpool site you are unhappy with you will have to take up with Marshy.
Let’s leave it there Kopite in respect of the Chelsea site. Thanks.April 15, 2019 at 2:37 pm #1742810
I don’t understand why Liverpool fans continue to post here and expect us to have an affinity for their team. Of course they can post from time to time, we are all football fans and human being.
But this is Chelsea forum and the affinity here is for Chelsea. I honestly don’t care if Liverpool or City who will win the League or even the Champions League. City won everything by money, so what? As if Liverpool did not spend 60 mil and 75 mil for a GK and for a def. It’s the same for almost every team: Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus etc. The only difference was Leicester when they won the league.
Go ahead and win them, both are very good teams and both are big spenders too. Here we only care about Chelsea FC.
