Manchester United fans have fallen asleep not realizing the power they hold in their pockets. Flying banners is of no use. The most telling demonstration of dissatisfaction is to stay away from Old Trafford on the weekends. The board or whoever will have to act. That’s people power.January 19, 2020 at 6:59 pm #1817792
Well done Jurgen Klopp, what a wonderful manager and human being.
Gutted we didnt get him years ago but he choosed the right club.
I doubt he would be so successful with Glazers and Ed.January 19, 2020 at 7:04 pm #1817793
Yes Scholsey,Fred was our best player, still dont rate him.
Rashford out for 2-3 months,thats a shock.
They need to loan a striker from somewhere, deals can not be negotiated with Ed.January 19, 2020 at 7:05 pm #1817794
People simply have to stop using Pogba’s absence as an excuse as he’s been as useful as a screen door on a submarine for about 95% of his time at Old Trafford.January 19, 2020 at 7:31 pm #1817808
moral-Because we are missing our best attacke mate,in Rashford.Never expected anything from this game but it wasnt a slaughter either,as I fully expected it to be.Liverpool are currently the best team in world football, and we were missing our 3 best players.January 19, 2020 at 7:34 pm #1817810
@roygbiv – Exactly, it’s all just BS smoke and mirrors, and putting lipstick on a big fat pig mate, This is precisely the sort of game that we paid a world record fee for Pogba to step up and dominate, but how many times has he actually ever done it?. He has disappeared without a trace every time he’s played at Anfield, and probably would have done so yet again today, simple as that.January 19, 2020 at 8:06 pm #1817817
@redblood, Rashford was a huge loss as his pace and current goalscoring form attest to. Pogba is a huge loss against the fodder the league offers and thats where we miss him most – but not sure what we would have got from him today against an aggressive and zippy Pool.
If McT is 1 of our 3 best players, well then it very much explains the 30 pt gap to the submit…January 19, 2020 at 8:06 pm #1817818

@moral – That’s it mate, IF McT is one of our best 3 players what does it say about the likes of DDG, Maguire, Lindelof, Martial etc etc?. Nothing against the lad at all, because I do like his character/commitment, and he has improved greatly BUT he wouldn’t have got a look in at OT in years gone by, and he certainly wouldn’t get a game for any top team in Europe now, that’s the harsh reality.January 19, 2020 at 8:36 pm #1817822
Go and give Klopp another blowie zico you fucking weapon!January 19, 2020 at 8:42 pm #1817823
Didn’t watch the game but wasn’t surprised one bit about the result. Pogba is taking the piss. He has been out as long as someone who had a serious injury. Meanwhile he is galavanting all over the world making a right cunt out of Ole and the club. I’ve said it for years that he is a youtube player. Never steps up and dominates in big games. He is exactly what Fergie was referring to when he called Ince a big time Charlie. Fucking larging it up with speeches during the world cup while players like Kante do all his running. The sooner he is out the better.January 19, 2020 at 8:42 pm #1817824
Thought we played well in patches. Could have been 4-0 but could also have been 2-2. Fred was excellent again today.
Really missed Rashford in attack.January 19, 2020 at 8:46 pm #1817825
Did anyone else think Ole was digging the club out of a hole over the fact that Rashford was playing with an injury. Even if it wasnt the same injury, it all talks to not having a pot to piss in – i.e. the Lukaku money was basically to plug the Maguire hole in the accounts.
I mean, reading the quote below, self excused, self accused comes to mind. The reporter didnt even ask about cause.
“Yeah it’s a [back] stress fracture, it happened against Wolves. It’s not happened before, it happened there and then.”January 19, 2020 at 9:13 pm #1817826
Martial had joy in that 10 minute speel when he peeled off onto the left for around 10 minutes. Reason is as good as Arnold is offensively, he can’t defend for toffee. I think Rashford would have gave him problems today.January 19, 2020 at 9:19 pm #1817827
Also, Ole said the defending for the first goal “did not go to plan.”
VVD said they were working on it as UTD defend zonally. Klopp also give credit to his coaches as analytics guys for coming up with the plays.
We are worst in the league, equal with Villa and Norwich, for concession ftom set plays with 8.
It reflects very poorly on players and coaches. On a day when Roy Keane said the captaincy for him meant he simply wanted to be the best in training and the best on the pitch on match day, I despair at what the fuck these goons are doing on the training pitch.
No ownership of problems. No characters.January 19, 2020 at 9:50 pm #1817829
Harry Maguire.January 19, 2020 at 10:20 pm #1817832
Not for me. He has failed to stamp his authority by organising us at the back.
Think Carragher, Terry, Keown, Hendry, Vidic – leaders who made fucking sure everyone did their job on set plays and called people out when they didnt. Characters own the problem and fix it.
Dont contribute to the problem, bloody eradicate it.January 19, 2020 at 10:51 pm #1817833
Harry Maguire is a true captain. Every time someone makes a mistake he literally shouts: “No, no…that’s not a mistake. THIS is a mistake!” before completing his latest boneheaded move. Everyone then feels a bit better about themselves and isn’t that what Ole’s United is all about? Being BFF’s and listening to Enya at the front gate of Hell?January 19, 2020 at 11:21 pm #1817835
Haha agree Roy. You could really see the difference between Harry and VVD.January 20, 2020 at 7:52 am #1817852
Didn’t watch the game as previously stated, but my lad rang me and said we dominated the last 30 minutes and that Fred was brilliant. The possession stats weren’t as bad as I expected either. Maybe some of them, bad as they are, actually played for the shirt yesterday?
