3 points, that’s all that matters, job done, on to the next game with the same aim.

A new season and a new challenge, the past is forgotten, all to play for. We have to be at our best in every game and totally professional to do the job

3 points defo matter bit the performance matters too.

Leeds were always gonna come all guns blazing after the season they had with the tails up so was important we won but the performance was well below par.

Drastic improvements needed for next game.
With such an intense season on the horizon it’s important we control games better and win easier. We can’t keep going to the same well for late goals.

Apart fron the poor defence we probably need a defensive midfielder like Alcantara.

Ginger it was a very poor performance by Liverpool, too many defensive mistakes, and too many chances wasted.

But at the end of fhe day, 3 points matters above all else, because the mistakes can (hopefully) be corrected in training.

And how good was it to see Salah so sharp? He’ll go for the Golden Boot now, and hopefully that will help us win the title

I believe the sloppiness defo will be corrected but it needs to be sooner rather than later.

This is gonna be a seriously intense season.
We need to find ways to win games easier.
We can’t keep relying on late goals this season.

Some of the sloppiness today was inexcusable.
I never believed it was gonna be an easy game.
Newly promoted team with their tails up was always gonna be difficult. Stupid mistakes need to be cut out.

We can not face Chelsea and Arsenal without improvement.
Besides we must stop being so relaxed and show more passion in defence especially VVD!!
    His performance was diasappointing.

    3 points!
    3 goals for Salah!
Poor overall performance due to individual errors from players who have been at the very top of their game for so long. Nothing to do with needing new players!
Time to work hard & keep things simple nothing more important than putting 3 points on the board in the early part of the season.

AK, quite right, most of those slopy errors should be easy to correct, most noticeably Van Dijk’s for their 2nd goal

Yeah Salah looks lethal, he might make a run for it this year again… the defense will improve, at least I’m banking on it in my fantasy team…

    Pleased with the 3 points.

I’m not sure you can read that much into opening games. If I remember correctly Norwich caused us plenty of problems at the start of last season and we all know how that panned out! Hopefully sloppiness at both ends and any complacency will be quickly ironed out. We’ll certainly have a better idea of how the season might shape up after the next couple of games. Would have liked to have seen Minamino get a run out, particularly when we were pushing for the winner. And as has been said, great to see Salah looking so sharp.

Credit to Leeds for their approach. Refreshing to see a side preferred to have a real go. It’s very rare to see the away side get such numbers in our box at Anfield. Will others be encouraged to adopt the same approach?

You don’t win the league in the opening months of the season but you can lose it.

AK new players can help. It is not only the individual errors but the sloppiness of the denfenders and how easily opponnets reached our box and created chances. This means that there is problem in the midfeield regarding defensive duties. In the attack we were very good but this is not enough for the title.

Sir Roger it was not only the game against Norwich but aslo Watford, Wolves, Smpton. We can noy rely on fortune but on our immidiate improvement.
