Salah will be a danger attacking our left back. Maybe Young will be better to cope with his pace than Blind and Darmian.

Going for a 2-0 United win, an early goal for us would be good and then we can counter.

Is it true Lukaku is injured?!.Can see Jose starting with:
    DDG
    Valencia-Jones-Bailly-Young

    Carrick

    Mihky-Herrera-Matic-Martial

    Rashford.

MT-I agree,Jose most probably will go with the “not get beaten” approach into this game!.That 4-0 drubbing @ Chelsea last season was something he does allow it to happen often.Gone for 1-1 myself.

The best weapon against Klopp is to sit back. Teams in Bundesliga did it against Dortmund successfully. Sit back and counter with Miki,Lukaku,Rashford and Martial against Matip and Louvren sounds like a wet dream. The high press a la Klopp should be taking care of with long balls to Lukaku,a perfect target player who can hold up the ball and start counterattacks.

I agree with Zico sit back stifle them and hit them on the break. It’s inevitable we need to adopt counter attacking play ;we have the pace.

Force their full backs into defensive mode. Nail the scouse tw… gosh I hate Liverpool games with them brings it all back.

I studied their worked there for ten years but never stepped foot inside anfield. I can’t stand them. To emphasize my personal experience with the rivalry I turned up at the gym in Liverpool once wearing my united top I thought Sod it got a few stares mind you but carried on. It was about 20 mins in this instructor working there tattooed with all sorts of Liverpool crap comes upto me “if it wasn’t for the fact I’m working right now and the gym being full I’d smash you”

I guessed he was a staunch Liverpool fan in his hand he had a book ” bill shankly autobiography” and out he came with quote after quote ” bastion of invincibility ” there’s two teams in Liverpool only Liverpool and Liverpool reserves”. I kindly responded with “well your shit now” Thankfully he had the humour to laugh it off. Funnily enough I remained in contact with him and had some good laughs.

But lets hope come Saturday we can get one over them!

Well I beg to differ I rather beat Liverpool and win the title!

Losing to Liverpool is never an option even if it were a friendly.

Lol mate, does it matter @ the end of the season how many games the title-winning team has lost or drawn.or how many goals has conceded?

Title is miles away your words are just hypothetical this is a game against Liverpool one not to lose it’s that simple! yes only three points but against Liverpool means more than just three points I don’t think I can be any clearer!

Wow, for probably the very 1st time ever, I agree with Zico…

The only way Liverpool can destroy us is if we rather strangely play a high defensive line against them. They will absolutely plunder us. But we never play a high line, we play quite deep and allow our attackers ample space to counter. Sit back, let them have the ball and when we counter, we make certain that we score. I don’t care even if we play a back 8. As long as that means we get the 3 points, I will be thrilled.

Once again a comfortable 2-1 Lukaku and Martial to score, with their goal a last minute consolation.

I think we need to have Herrera man-mark Coutinho. He’s a greedy little fucker and will shoot from practically anywhere and because he has about 20 shots a game he’s bound to score the odd screamer (all the while the scousers think he’s the best thing since sliced bread when he does score one yet forget the 19 other shots that failed to hit the target) so if we nullify him their attacking threat is seriously diminished.

One of those games where form goes out the window but I think the absense of Mane and an out and out goalscorer will mean a 0-2 win for United. I’d go:
    DdG
    Valencia, Jones, Bailly, Blind
    Herrera, Matic
    Mkhitaryan, Mata, Martial
    Lukaku
I have a sneeky feeling Young will get a game though. Possibly at left back.
I don’t mind not starting both Martial and Rashford as it means we have a quality impact player on the bench to bring on iff we need to change things.

I’d love to see Shaw start to get some game time. Obviously that’s not going to happen at Anfield. Mourinho should have him play 90 minutes in the reserve game on Sunday and if he plays well start him against Huddersfield next week.

Our lads are looking great. My only concern is at left back. With Salah in such great form, we need whoever plays there to have a great game. I trust Herrera to keep Coutinho quiet. The rest will be up to Lukaku and co to put Liverpool to the sword. On the flip side of the coin, we have Jurgen Klopp. A man whose bizarre running around, arm waving and jumping jacks on the touchline are nearly as legendary as his grotty teeth. People have been institutionalized for lesser antics.

Young is a shoe in for left back at Anfield. And I reckon he’ll whip in another curling assist onto Lukaku’s bonce!

Young is better going forward than defending the winger he is.
Maybe Mourinho will play with three cb´s and two wingbacks?
In that case i can take Young as a wingback. This will bring Salah further back with defensive duties. Dont think ;ourinho will try Young in a back4 against Liverpool away.

    Manthistle is right coutinho likes to shoot at every opportunity;he always wants to switch it to his right foot and score a screamer;

He must be nullified at all costs do not give the Barca player any room!
