Suddenly transfer deadline day becomes interesting … no other reason for it happening now than a big signing due surely…?

Just like moaninho, would only go to money clubs … it is easy to be succesful when you can buy just about any player with unlimited transfer budgets/cheques.

Football’s worst kept secret. Funny thing is, it’s been 3 years in the making yet other clubs thought they were in with a chance.

So, Finn you are a red? Which red club is this that does not spend money?

finn_red – if it was so easy to “buy” success you wouldnt have wasted 100s of millions of pounds over the years and still not won the league huh…?

Shiekh Mansour went to Germany in a Toyota Corolla – brought us back a manager Pep Guaridola

Priceless from finn_red – how much have you spent on securing your success ? Envy is a really ugly thing

Great appointment lads make the PL even more exciting and it will be difficult to hang on to your shirt tails now.

Current squad+ financial might+ infra structure + Guardiola = Guaranteed success imo. I can see you winning the CL during the next 3 seasons.

I don’t begrudge you any of this for one minute many of you Big Jim amongst them have suffered over the years this is your time in the Sun and deservedly so.

Yaya is the main current player who will be affected, Nasri will probably have another resurgence when back from injury and then fade again after 6 months

Jim..leave it on because the guy obviously does not know how Utd have been paying millions for years, in fact I think they are the founder of the big spend league.
This appointment will hurt them more than any signing we make because it confirms that Utd are no longer the club they were and City are building for the future not for shareholders to make a few bob

Thank you , Nine, nine, nine…..we will get better I am sure but football is strange and anything can happen so I will not be saying we will win everything, even with Pep but it is sure going to be fun watching what emerges. Final thought, thank you MP I am sure you will look after us until the end of the season

I like Pellegrini…and whilst I’m gutted we didn’t win the title a couple of seasons back, I’m glad it went to his team (though obviously, I hope he’s on the receiving end of another Liverpool beating this season when Wembley comes calling :o) Anyhoo, seems like a dignified way to deal with his departure and the new arrival. Certainly, given how things can be (Moyes knows about that) there were far worse ways to deal with this.
