Anyone else notice how Jones just stopped covering the space for the goal, allowing Bernardo to have an open view of the shot?
With that said, shot was excellent. It’s a team of men against boys out there unfortunately – incredible how far behind our squad is given the money we’ve spent.
January 7, 2020 at 8:27 pm #1814322As for Dan James…
January 7, 2020 at 8:27 pm #1814323Ole hasn’t a fucking scooby. Zero in game management. Just sitting there on his hoop like a lost child. And i dont give a fuck what anyone says, half those fuckers out there have downed tools again. Not trying a leg. And all the bullshit from the usual suspects won’t change my mind one jot.
January 7, 2020 at 8:34 pm #1814327Dan james deary me. Do people still think oles three signings so far have been great? He doesn’t have a clue what type of players are required
Sorry to say ole but you can have a team of 11 sprinters you ain’t winning many football matches
January 7, 2020 at 8:35 pm #1814328Victor badly exposed.
But everyone on this forum know that Lingard and Perreira are championship players. Like I said a few days ago, any manager who believes they can be relied on to deliver results, deserves everything they get.
January 7, 2020 at 8:35 pm #1814329And before the usual apologists start chatting shit. We’re missing McTominay, Martial and Maguire. None of which would get on City’s bench in current form.
January 7, 2020 at 8:42 pm #1814331@n1xer Are you suggesting taking Jones out the team, and swapping Perreira out for McTominay wouldn’t substantially improve us?
January 7, 2020 at 8:42 pm #1814332If maguire was playing de bruyne would have skinned him just like he did to Jones there make no mistake. £80m maguire £50m on wan bissaka
We need a proper director of football ASAP. And not a bloody old boy who knows the club!
January 7, 2020 at 8:45 pm #1814334@Mike2005- Yes i am mate 100%. And i tell you another thing, if you think it wouldn’t you need to give your head a shake.
January 7, 2020 at 8:45 pm #1814335This is embarassing – City should be 6 up.
Andy, Jesse, James et al. Lipstick on pigs….
January 7, 2020 at 8:51 pm #1814336@n1xer – There is a direct correlation between an ownership regime who neither care about football, or have any sort of coherent plan be successful appointing a clueless, half wit as the manager who wouldn’t have a fucking clue what to do from one week to the next, even if his entire life depended upon it mate.
And anyone who cannot see that this ‘cultural reset’ bollocks is just a complete and total myth, especially with someone so utterly incompetent and unqualified as Ole is at the ‘head’ of it needs to take up watching another sport, because they clearly know fuck all about this one, simple as that.January 7, 2020 at 8:57 pm #1814337Blacky there’s no point. Ole will not be sacked because he has fergies backing. Woodward will not want to go against fergie or Bobby Charlton so unfortunately we are stuck, unless ole walks himself, which again i highly doubt given the high praise from former players he unsurprisingly seems to be getting
Remember how Scholes used to tear into LVG every week, where is Scholes now?
We are screwed for a very long time
January 7, 2020 at 8:58 pm #1814338This club is getting everything it deserves and whoever scouted Lindelof should be shot. He’s almost as bad as Jones and that’s saying something! The pair of them must be the worst 2 cb’s in the PL. Ole picking Lingard AND Pereira in the same team and and leaving Matic on the bench beggars belief. Fucking clueless. I expect it to be at least 5-0!
January 7, 2020 at 8:58 pm #1814339Oh dear. Man United started well with high press and with City play with no striker they were easy to defend against while playing on their half. A different story on our half, completely different.
McTominay would have improved us one tiny bit but he may have been sent off when City plays quick one touch football in small spaces.
Ole needs in the second half push the team up in high press again and work their socks off, play for the badge.
Reading the face of Woodward makes you think Ole is sacked in the morning.
January 7, 2020 at 8:58 pm #1814340Come back Moysey, Louis or Jose, all is forgiven. Seriously though, love ‘em or hate ‘em, at least they’re football managers with a plan, system and formation. These four fucking chumps that ‘manage’ United at the moment couldn’t run a pub team, in fact they’re currently demonstrating that they can’t run a pub team.
January 7, 2020 at 9:00 pm #1814341@mike2005 – You’re living on fantasy island mate, wake up and smell the coffee and realise that Ole is already looking like a poor man’s David Moyes. He is completely bereft of anything close to what is required, other than being a fan favourite from his time as a player what has he got to offer?, answer = Jack shit.
That and Woodward’s complete incompetence are the only things keeping him in work, simple as that.January 7, 2020 at 9:03 pm #1814342I stopped watching after the second goal by the way, just too embarrassing. Solskjaer has got to go because he simply isn’t a football manager.
January 7, 2020 at 9:04 pm #1814343This is a sickening watch. I’ve gone through all 5 stages of grief in about 20 mins of first half football. Guardiola has made an absolute joke of Ole here and left him like a deer in headlights until halftime.
God help us. We are well and truly rogered.
January 7, 2020 at 9:04 pm #1814344Totally agree Blacky. I’ve pulled the plug on that shit. Wont be watching the second half. Sick of getting mugged off by that inept excuse for a manager and team. Can honestly say its the first time in over 30 years i’ve switched a game off at half time. Pains me to say it mate but this could be terminal. Such a long way back it doesn’t seem doable with this ownership and manager.
