I guess the fans who invaded the stadium
was a narrative of Sky (No Sky supporter). Don’t remember fans invading the stadium in the BSL protest apart from.

My main concern about all this is when the game is going to get rescheduled because all I can see is that we are going to get more screwed over this than the club of the perpetrators. The only fair and creditable day would have been today or even tomorrow, which they have clearly already bottled, but after that, then every other option is going to be equal or more disadvantageous to the innocent party. At the present time (OK – things may change), we are in a ‘must win every game’ scenario whereas Man Utd know that they won’t be involved in a must-win game until the Europa League Final on 26th May – after the final PL round of games on the preceding Sunday (this of course is on the basis that Man Utd aren’t living in some deluded universe where they think that can win the PL). Why can’t the authorities just look at the fixture schedule, grow a pair, and say the game is being played tomorrow night? OK, they’ll have to fly out to Rome the following day, but with a 4 goal cushion in that tie, is that really going to cause them a problem? As usual, the precious darlings are getting preferential treatment.

Red why were the players banned from talking to the protesters? They already managed to persuade them to leave their training grounds, they probably would have done the same with the crowd at the hotel and the game would have gone on… Is it really better to have the police round everyone up and cause a riot?

Bingo, a Policeman had his face badly slashed and will be scared for life and you blame the Police.

The match couldn’t go ahead because the fans got into the dressing rooms which broke Covid protocols.

You really do make a habit of getting things spectacularly wrong Bingo!

the police certainly have a lot to answer for yesterday nine.

huge failures in intelligence left them completely blindsided by a load of kids early on and then they came out swinging their batons late in the day when everybody had had a skinful.

casualties were inevitable…very sympathy for them.

I’m not completely absolving the Police for their part in all this Gas but the main responsibility for all this imo lies with the fans particularly those who moved to violence and destruction which also included around the Lowry Hotel in the Centre of the City. But a Policeman should not have incurred a slashed face that should never happen.

Peaceful protests yes no problems with them but threats from MUST by letter today to the owners if they don’t agree with their 4 requests and what might happen at the next home game v Leicester won’t help anybody imo.

Anyway how are you doing with your health these days Gas. Take care buddie. Cheers 9’s

My bad sir. But, the fan bases of Liverpool couldn’t stage such a peaceful well organized protests. Manchester United, the most loyal fan base of the vile six. We will not stand by and let these vile owners carry on like other club have.

    @999

There was no violence apart from a few idiots throwing flares and beer cans. If you are blaming the fans for what happened yesterday then you don’t get it and you never will. I have never been more proud to be a red and every single person who was there yesterday can hold their heads high. Different level.

Martial, not criticising the protest at all mate and it is perfectly justified I wouldn’t want Chelsea owned by the Glazers but there was violence and there was destruction and I don’t believe you were proud of that.

I think there a bigger problem on here nine then bingos comments mate and it’s the martial bringing death on a conversation to get one up over Liverpool fans. Can’t believe he hasn’t been banned over the years. Really is a horrible person

Hoping a pandemic with millions dying would stop Liverpool winning the league

Agreed Sean and it was disgusting from Martial who should take that comment back and apologise.

Kopite “The problem lies with Marshy not wishing to take any action against TMA” Unfortunately Marshy doesn’t have the time to monitor the various sites anyone who wants to complain about a post on here you need to e-mail Marshy directly.

Martial you need to head this off at the pass and do the decent thing and apologise because what you said above was totally out of order.

In normal times Utd would face a huge fine for this.

It’s not the police responsibility to keep fans out the dressing room, and off the pitch. That’s on the club.

But then again it’s not normal times. The club is probably short of stewards because of govt regulations, keeping them and fans out the stadium.

Not sure how to feel about all this to be honest.
Best thing to do, is probably reschedule for when fans and stewards are back, or play behind closed doors.
