@notorious bingo – In case you didn’t notice, we were eleven points behind Arsenal a month ago. Now we’ve got all three of the Londoners in our sight. And with Spurs about to implode, it looks like London’s falling…. while Manchester’s finest is rising.

I want Pochetino to be United next manager. If the board decide to give it OGS, then I am ok with it. He’s a United legend after all.

@shinehead4“…… on another day the final score could and should have been 8-3”

Football doesn’t work that way. You don’t score all the chances created. Spurs are good team (without winning trophies 😉 , but your team would never score 8 against United reserves let alone the first team

I reckon Manchester United need possibly 5/6 top, top quality players

Well, I respect your opinion but Utd don’t need 5-6 players to challenge the best teams. A quality CM to play alongside Pogba, a top CB and RW attacker like Mbappe. We’ll be a force again.

TMA football does work that way, at OT we had 3 2nd half chamces, scored all 3 and waltzed off with 3 points and unless you forgot last week we had all our DFM’s out,Disco had to go off so you faced a scratch Spurs not the first X! and we still ripped you a new one in the 2nd half without scoring only for the brilliance of DDG who saved 11 chances !!! Not 8 .
Let’s have a look at this side of yours,a whole back 4 needed, none of them would get in any other top 6 side.Your MF I suppose Pogba as he cost a lot ,but who else ?? Up front things are better with Rashford and Martial then who? Lukaku ? if he gets any bigger he will be incapabke of moving .Good luck with your recruitment drive.

@shinehead4 – I acknowledge Tottenham are a good side (without winning trophies 🙂 ). Being honest, we were lucky that we didn’t lose that game, but you need a bit of luck sometimes and it was a fine finish by Rashford and a simply stunning performance by DDG. Lets also not forget Lloris saved Spurs from conceding the second goal. If Spurs 2 goals down, De Gea would never have had to make those saves. It would have been a different game entirely.

One game at a time, the real Manchester United is on the way back…. Letting Mourinho go is proving to be the best piece of business so far. Top four is a possibility now.

As I have mentioned, we need 3 top players in the summer. A CB (say De Ligt), CM (Milankovic Savic) and RW (Mbappe). Just remember Pogba is by far the best midfielder in the league. We’re only in January and Pogba has 11 goals and 9 assists for the season.

    De Gea
    Dalot, Lindelof, De Ligt, Shaw
    Savic, Matic, Pogba
    Mbappe, Rashford, Martial

Sub: Lukaku, Lingard, Sanchez, Mata, Herrera, Fred, Smalling, Bailly, Young

That’s game over as far as I am concerned.

I noticed, I just wasn’t sure until now whether you knew the natural order of things as they are today but I’m glad you are up to date 😉

Even United would struggle to finance those three signings.

Honestly, we’re a long way from “being back” but for the first time in five years we look like we’re beginning to move in the right direction. After Mourinho, whatever happens this season was always going to be irrelevant. We might finish in a CL spot because the three London clubs above us all have issues but so do we. It’s going to take 3-4 good signings each summer for the next 2-3 years before we can even dream of duking it out with the best again but I think most supporters will accept that as long as we’re playing positive football and bringing young and exciting players through.

Since Ole took over there’s been a massive injection of positivity at Old Trafford; the players are enjoying their football and the supporters are actually looking forward to games. Trust me, that hasn’t been the case in a long time and I think everyone is enjoying the ride although most of us understand the massive task ahead. I just hope the board does too because the short-term scattergun approach of the past few years has really set us back a fair few years in terms of challenging for top honors.

This has to be the most cringe worthy, embarrassing thread since some prat creamed his pants by calling himself LVGenius and ttempting to type with a Dutch accent. Or maybe the Manchester United aura of invincibility, that was a cracker too.

No offence normal Man Utd fans on here.

Haha have you heard the latest United want a straight swap Jones for Coutino. Suppose that’s one way of getting rid of your most useless player. Somehow don’t think Barca will be interested.

Since Ole comes, we conceded the least number of goals. Prior to last night, Chelsea have only failed to score in one of their last 50 cup ties at Stamford Bridge – this was in the 2017-18 League Cup semi-final vs Arsenal (0-0).

Can we relax boys? its just Chelsea away 😉

I just wanna see what OLE can do with some money and players he wants to bring in.. if he did this with a supposedly disjointed squad with low morale, I wanna see what he does with some players he can get in.
