In a nutshell, have a system like it used to be, where someone starts a thread and you can comment on whatever has been said, without losing the thread, but of course also allowing individuals to comment on other matters.
Basically, what it used to be, with the possible exeption of the “thumbs” ……if someone has a comment on a previous post, let them comment without hiding in secret.

Totally agree, the old system, apart from the thumbs, worked fine. I gave up with the changed system ages ago

As the other posters have said return the forum to the free format it had previously ie a single thread with most recent posts at the top much the same as many successful sites. As far as the “thumbs” are concerned keep them but make them similar to Facebook likes where you can see who voted up and who voted down. When you’ve made the changes, email all registered users from the current and previous sites and ldt them know you’re back. Make sure you relaunch before the start of the 16/17 season.

Its self evident whats needed because the forum died when you changed it…revert it back to how it was with the thumbs up down to be visual as the other comments say.

Eye up welshy, cheshire & northern. Don’t know leather. Just a test post to see if I am still alive, haha. This thread is ‘what would you change’ from Mark. Is this guy for real? I doubt if I would have enough characters to say whats wrong with this so called forum, so I will say in one word whats right with it. NOTHING. BBFN. Roly.
