Rip, Status Quo, Rick. Not sure how 2016 is at fault. I love my 1990s, but noticed somehow the resriction to pop music, rave, etc.

Top Buzz, NJOI, Shades of Rhythm, a big mention as ever to Racee Race, Top Man and a legend.

Over 25 Deaths in the Music Industry tells a lot of People that 2016 has been a Shite Year for Music.

Taxi, that’s from your angle and I respect your viewpoint.

But I can’t regard it as speaking for the thread in itself which I have noticed there’s a slight clique (just seemingly and purely on chance of age/generation), which is probably something I have often come across on here in vein when putting in my choices if they are not related to alternative rock/indie; which this largely has been geared towards.

We’re quite similar in both being passionate about music from day one. I’m just saying from my point of view considering the crap in chart and dance/house music that’s manifested for more than a decade, 2016 has been a fine year and lots of tunes I’ve been happy to get into.

Some of the legends (in my view) from my previous posts are alive and well thankfully.

I was pleased to see recent clips of Rozalla and kelly lorenna so long may it continue from my point of view and be able to keep that flame alive.

Another mention, is that I’m glad of Rick Astley and Bros returning 🙂 Reignites the nostalgia.

We just come from different angles which I don’t make an apology for but simply say enjoy it and most of all Happy festive period.

    Cheers

taxidriver@2:13 pm taxi, you were spot on with your post mate and now tragically the world of Music has lost George Michael too at just 53 years of age. It’s simply unbelievable.

    RIP George Michael.

I would say deeply in shock, at least one concreate if not 2 sadly leaving us.

I can’t believe George Michael has gone; how? why?

I wanted him to recreate Fastlove – just deeply gutted 🙁

WW, totally uncalled for, I take it you think metal is purely heterosexual.
Wham and his later solo work are not to my musical taste, but you can’t knock his musical talent and influence on pop music…Pagan
