Think it’s time to reshuffle our front three for the next few games. The Firmino-Salah-Mane partnership has been quite ineffective recently, the trio by all means have not turned into bad footballers but they may be feeling the weight in their legs as they have clocked impressive playing hours these last months. Compare that to KDB or Aguero who miss one or two games virtually every month and then come back fresh to dazzle pundits on TV.
Or maybe it is more difficult to make the recipe concocted by Klopp, consisting of wide men whose heat map show them in the middle of the pitch most of the time, to be as efficient as it was last season, as opposition managers have done their homework and are able to successfully prepare a plan to counter that approach?
I’m quite frustrated to see cross after cross from our full backs being dealt easily by 6ft2 giants.
Time to give Origi a run and have faith that he could shed his ‘disinterested’ coat if he feels he is still valued and is able to build on his sharpness?

Of the players we have at the club that can play in the front 3 Origi is the last one I want to see start a league game.

Sorry mate, origi is like playing with a men down at the moment. He’s really been poor any chance he has got in the last few months.

Our front 3 need to start taking their chances. Last two games we should have been out of sight

Wba last two results makes it even more frustrating

I wouldn’t mind seeing a bit more drive from midfield. Once fully fit Thiago will be starting but until then maybe start ox with Hendo and winji ???

Its not the front three that is broke, its our buildup play… Normally we get away with having quite a industrial midfield cause we got options in the back four… Van Dijk can ping a ball to the corner flag, Gomez has good vision as well and Matip plays good as well… All three can even take on a man or two, that all opens up space which we do not have at the moment…

I don´t like Origi out wide, it has never been effective and Klopp wants his number nine to press the opposition… That means dropping Bobby and we know that is not happening as nobody has the amount of attempted presses he has…

Right now a playmaker can be the solution to all our problems, instead of Williams or Phillips hoofing the ball up with minimal accuracy, which leaves Mane and Salah with such a limited space they can´t work their magic… They can´t run at the opposition if they don´t have the space to run into, time after time our buildup play is so slow that the opposition defense has closed down all space behind them.

We could have Ronaldinho upfront and nothing would happen as we can´t get the ball to him in a good position…

Its not just Van Dijk and Gomez who are missing, we have been missing our midfield options as well… Milner, Keita, Thiago, Oxlade have all been missing… We see Keita having a good game and we put 7 goals in the net…

Finally we actually have two playmakers that can make the team and we just need one of them fit…

As soon as our midfield option grow, we are gonna go on a run…

The front 3 have had plenty of possession in good positions to all too often waste it.

All they need to do is stop fucking around in front of goal. Another option is use Minamino or Shaq in a 4-2-3-1.

We had plenty of chances in our last two ganes. We are creating chances but not taking them. That’s the problem. We took nearly every chance v palace

Jesus Newcastle are terrible. Wba and Newcastle’s last few ganes shows how bad tvOS’s points are we dropped

I was thinking about Origi because we can go the direct route, let him win headers in the opposition box for a change and destabilise defenders and Salah or Mane can pounce if he manages to get a flick. Surely he is of PL standard, and I personally don’t think Jesus is better than him.

Sean I know you are not a fan of Origi on the left wing mate, I was thinking of getting him on as a target man for a change.

I mentioned previously about our front three simply being too intricate with their finishing and not putting their boot thru it and James Maddison earlier showing the benefits of doing so!. No f**king about, bang. Not saying smash it every-time but I can recall at least half a dozen opportunities in the last two game where laces first would have likely ended up positively for us.

I would rather change formation on occasion as I mentioned before, 4231 it, Shaq in Mo’s spot, Mo as the 9, Mane on the left, Thiago as the 10 with Gini and Hendo behind. Something different.
