Pretty clear ETH doesn’t have the luxury to rotate this team at the moment. He can just about get 11 fighters out of this squad for a match day.
But we knew this anyway. New players need time to settle, it’s still a work in progress (of course it is as it’s literally been 3 months!) so we need to take each game as it comes.

1-1 here isn’t a bad result considering how Palace are playing. A win would be a very good way to bounce back from that shit 90 mins though.

Game if off then, if it’s 10 day mourning then will it going into the following weekend? Especially if the funeral is a week on Sunday?

Is it fuck the right thing to do! I see they haven’t told people not to go to work so as they can keep the economy running normally, but sport and leisure is somehow seen as a different case. People should be able to mourn if they want to as individuals or to carry on as normal, not have it shoved down their throats 24×7 as is happening now.
Let’s face it, she was 96 years of age and lived a very long and priveleged life, so a bit of perspective is needed, especially after two years of covid restrictions. It’s a load of old bollocks for me.

It seems that only football and no other sport has postponed matches this weekend. Golf is going ahead among others. So it’s not the government’s decision, this is purely down to the F.A., the PL and the EFL.

As a foreigner I don’t really get the postponement, but maybe it’s better for United after the horrdi display and defeat on Thurday; more chance for ETH to sort the team out against an in-form Palace team.

@killy – Just think of all the thousands of people who will have already booked flights, trains, hotels and made all sorts of other expensive arrangements for this weekends matches. There is no way they will get their money back, and it’s all because a 96 year old has died, it’s fucking laughable.

I’m Irish and live in Ireland, you’re preaching to the converted here. I was just pointing out that this was the footballing authorities decision not the govt.

I know you were, my reply was more for the attention of the site clown who didn’t even consider the implications for all the poor buggers who have to suffer financially because of crazy decisions like this one.

@happy – Shut the fuck up you thick mick, wasn’t it your mob that’s been trying to blow up all of the Royal Family for the last hundred years, and now you think it’s a good thing that everyone else has to have it shoved down their throat 24×7 for god knows how long, and be told how they’ve got to mourn her death?
Good to know that you are a complete dimwit on just about every topic, not just football!😂😂

Times have changed you imbecile! It’s a historic moment, generational. The country has gone into a period of mourning. Everything seems to be shutting down this weekend, shopping centres etc.
    Not sure about Harrods though!

Yes you clown, times HAVE changed and an ever increasing number of us in this country don’t give a flying fuck about that dysfunctional family. Those that do can shut themselves indoors, close the curtains and watch endless repeats on BBC news if they want to, that’s their prerogative. Meanwhile back in the real world…….

@happy,it’s not just train fair, people have come from Africa, Asia, South America, some on once in a lifetime trips to OT, Stamford Bridge or Anfield, wherever and now because some inbred bint has kicked the bucket their 000’s of pounds are gone. Yes it’s generational but it’s no longer so important as to bring British society to a standstill.
