So payet has supposedly layed down tools and refused to play for West Ham after they refused a bid from France. I know this isn’t classy but the player sure is, he’s been linked to us in the past and although 29 he would be a good addition especially considering we could lose Sanchez and ozil and that PSG have signed draxler who had been on our radar. As I said his attitude is a little alarming but he has expressed his admiration for us on the past and I like his attitude and passion when he’s on the field similar to Sanchez and although he had a stellar first season he seems to gone off the boil but don’t know how much of that is him personally and how much is the team underperforming. I know West Ham won’t be keen on selling to a city rival but we have players who could be involved in a swap or loaned to sweeten the deal. I known signing payet could impede the progress of iwobi but I’m sure he would be willing to learn off him and settle for a place on the bench. thoughts??

not for me, think he could be good for a year or tow but his attitude is now very questionable and a good addition to the squad but not a replacement for or oz or sanch

Payet is a good addition to the team considering that it gives us the opportunity to rest Sanchez for some matches. The latter is already tired.

How can anyone think Payet would be a good addition is beyond me. he would cost £20million, he is on ridiculous wages and he is prepared to refuse to play if he gets upset. For Christ sake, haven’t we got enough players with this attitude anyway. I do wonder about the intelligence level on here.

Oracle he’s on the same as Theo, are u suggesting he wouldn’t improve the team. And yes u mentioned £20 million which is a snippet in today’s market. As I said in the original post yes his attitude is questionable but for one we don’t know what went on behind the scenes and secondly ones attitude playing for a certain team don’t mean he will be like that all the time maybe minus ballotelli even he seems to have calmed down since going to France. Finally yes he’s not playing as he’s trying to force a move but as far as our team goes look at Sanchez acting like a baby and throwing tantrums just sign the deal man!
