I’ve always rated Ole as a manager, I don’t think it’s a fluke. He’s changed a lot of things since he came in and so far it’s been working.

On the plus side, they’ll probably fire him and bring in some big name mercenary at the end of the season.

I think Poch for United is a done deal personally. All depends on who ol’ red nose wants!

JC: What do you mean by… I’ve always rated him as a manager? Are you a big fan of the Norwegian league?

I don’t know a lot about the Norwegian league but he took a team with modest resources to a couple of league titles, and a decent run in Europa.

    Took Cardiff down also!

If Spurs had their shooting boots on or DDG had a bad game Utd would of lost by 4 or 5 goals. Their defence is still as bad as it has been all season.

    Agree threeps.
    Spurs finishing was abysmal.
Bar Delle Ali’s header every shot went straight at DDG.

    Surprise, surprise
Our warm weather training camp as predicted.
Hopefully this rejuvenates the lads making them ready for that last big push to the title.

Overseas training camp to provide fitness relief for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool squad

It feels like we have to battle for every win while City just stroll through their games without breaking sweat, last night being a good example. It’s good so far, but I hope this doesn’t catch up with us later on.

Lol nediarb i think wolves going down to 10 men within the first 20mins had something to do with that “stroll”. They play after us next week against huddersfield away who will have that new manager bounce hopefully. This is not the time to have doubts

Prior to the City, we had won our previous 6 games by a 2 goal margin or more, so I don’t really get your point about us having to battle for every win.

Hindsights a fine thing but I guess we shouldn’t have played him last game after he injured his knee in the warm up.

Looks like a 4-2-3-1 this week
    Allison
    Milner, Matip, VVD, Robbo
    Fab, Hendo
    Shaq, Firmino, Mane
    Salah

Just as well we don’t have that many games over the next few weeks.
TAA will prob only miss 3 games.

A pacy forward in this transfer window wouldnt be a bad thing. If mane and salah are injured we’re fucked.

    Completely agree Reds.
We play with 4 attackers most games now but we only have 4 good enough to play those roles.
We could do with 1 more that could play more than 1 position.

“Mak>> I don’t always agree with what you say but I always assumed that you were more clued-up about Liverpool’s games/history than you’ve just demonstrated above.”

It’s not like me to forget something this bad but RH man, I have a SHOCKING memory mate.

The away games difference might not be telling by themselves ya but they all add up. We’re going to see what this team are made of and also, Klopp. I mean, I’m 100% convinced of his quality as a manager. He’s won back to back Bundesliga titles, so like City this league, he’s been there done that in terms of a successful campaign. He did it against a club with vastly superior resources back then too.

Same as you though. I no longer care how the 3 points come. It seems like matches are much more valuable now that we have City on our tail. In that sense, it shouldn’t be hard for Klopp to tell the lads “focus on these 3 points and nothing else.”. Every win we get is more doubt in the Citys players minds.

I agree Ginger (on TAA at Brighton) but his replacement may not have intercepted that cross to Locadia late on and thus preventing him from making it 1-1!
