Not going to judge at all either way as it’s only a few weeks into pre-season, but you can see that the problems are still the same so far: Weak defence and central midfield.

Jokes aside I’ll see the highlights a bit later but am more interested in seeing how patterns of play might be visible or developing. If anyone can give some insight on this please share.
Look fitter, sharper, working hard, closing down, moving the ball quicker. But yeah, still dodgy at the back and central midfield as Sympathy says.

Savage looks like a decent player. Neat and tidy in possession. Can see him doing well out on loan in one if the top end championship teams this year
