Can’t really shout from the rooftops about many signings the past decade i guess, Bruno was a good signing i suppose. The mad thing is most of the players Ole signed were better than the players they replaced. LVG’s signings set us back a decade pretty much. Let’s see if ETH can get a tune out of anyone in this squad or whether he’ll have to spend 4 years entirely replacing it.

Don’t think Amad was tooooo bad, but yeah definitely lightweight. The issue was he was played through the centre against Konute and Van Dijk – of course he wasn’t gonna have much of an impact there. His best area is RW where he can cut in, but wasn’t played there to accommodate Pellistri.
Still had an assist and a couple of nice touches against the strongest Liverpool team (for the most part).
Iqbal and Savage did look good though…. but why wasn’t Garner even in the squad??
Garner has been training on his own as picked up a knock. Yeah forgot Diallo had the assist. He just seemed to get dispossessed loads of times. Ah well, hopefully he improves.
@happy – Interesting that you mention Diallo’s poor performance whilst completely ignoring the fact that Gashford could make no impression whatsoever against a 17 year old full back. He also played in the period of the game when we were at our best and Liverpool were at their weakest, yet still he couldn’t do a single thing right, including a horrible scuffed shot when presented with a great chance to score.

Rashford is a big worry for me. He is on massive wages and has been “off form” for about a year and a half now. Leave his laughably imprecise finishing aside – I don’t remember him completing a pass in the last 3 months of last season. He also consistently makes the very worst decision in every important situation – every attack that goes through him dies as he misplaces the final pass, runs into a blind alley, or fails to work the goalkeeper.
I have no idea what has happened to him but if Ten Hag gets a tune out of this player I’ll bow down to him as the second coming because I don’t see any manager under pressure taking risks by giving him Premier League minutes.
Another albatross hanging on the club’s neck along with Maguire, Wan Bissaka, and a good few others.
Other than that, he’s a great player hatters 😂😂

Fortunately, his contractual situation is such that he should not be an albatross for too much longer, providing the club does the right thing for a change.
He has one year left plus another year’s option, so if he continues to resemble a guy who has just been dragged out of the Stretford End to have a kickabout, rather than a decent pro footballer then the club will have no option other than to fuck him off, but of course they will then have to live with the risk of him hanging around for a free transfer.The one thing they cannot even consider is to reward his failures with a big new contract, as Woodward continually did in the past, simple as that.
Rashford has had an awful spell no doubt. But i think he has almost 100 goals and 60 assists in 300 games from the left wing. Not just tap ins against Bolton either, some amazing goals against some top teams. He’s from Manchester, an academy lad and has been with us since the age of 7. This is a big season for him, of course, big questions will be asked if he has another season like he did last year.
But if you can’t get behind him and want him to succeed then i think you’re a bit of cunt!Simple as that.
The only true question on Rashford is which scenario to take:
1.) Give him game time to try and see if he refinds form but risking playing a player who just isn’t doing the business and upsetting others.
2.) Dropping him immediately for other players to be given a chance and basically putting the final nail in the coffin on his United career.
I’d give him a large number of friendlis + 2 or 3 competitive games to get back into it, but if he doesn’t, he should definitely be dropped.
@happy – If you haven’t spotted yet how the fucker has not only been stinking the shirt out with his performance levels, BUT has also morphed into nothing more than a Mancunian Martial with his terrible attitude, his continued refusal to work hard for the badge, or to even try and put in a shift to justify his extravagant wages, then not only are you a blind cunt you are also a totally deluded one!!
Fact is, nobody WANTS to see him fail like this, but there comes to a point when you just have to accept the reality. Being paid 200k per week to do very little other than make fish finger butties for a bunch of school kids ain’t much good to us pal, simple as that.
So let’s get behind him and see if we can get him back into form. If we can’t then we sell him.
I’m pretty certain that if Rashfords bad form is down to outright bad attitude rather than low confidence that ETH will not allow that and make the decision to fuck him off.
I’d love to see ETH get a tune out of him because on his day which has been a while he can be devastating
What we discuss on here has zero influence on proceedings. There’s only about a dozen of us as it is, and I very much doubt that Rashy is one of them, especially now that fruitcake @libanski has done one!!😂😂
Social media does filter down to the players though doesn’t it. Racially abused for missing penalties, people slamming any pics they put up on twitter and instagram – it’s all so toxic.
Plus, if we can all be nice on here then it’s good for my mental health as well!!
