With the spread of Covid-19 and major sporting events being cancelled, it is not inconceivable that the 2019/20 footie season will come to a premature end.

Were that to happen…would the entire season be voided, with teams remaining where they are? Or would promotion and relegation be decided by where teams sit at the time that the season is terminated?

It could easily happen, as a lot can change in a week. So I sincerely hope it is the latter, if that is what transpires.

Its now inevitable. No NBA, no March Madness. Soon no footie.

Hopefully it won’t come to that. Knowing the way that the Prem gets all of the goodies they could decide that no team gets promoted or relegated especially if by then Liverpool have won the title!

It’s over. The season will be suspended tomorrow, Friday.

Let’s just hope that the fall-out is good for Albion.

I’m on a roll. In 1666 the great fire of London was the only thing that extinguished the so-called Black Death. So, if I owned property on Pudding Lane, I would double my insurance.

Now the brain surgeons at the F.A. will have to figure out the promotion and relegation situation, as I think its optimistic to think that Covid-19 will have disappeared by early April.

the lawyers must be licking their chops!

It’s supposed to peak in 12-14 weeks which makes it around the end of June!
