Ramires on the brink of joining Jiangsu in the Chinese Super League for £25m?

Snap their hands off time imo. But will we invest the money elsewhere Teixera possibly?

I have always liked Ramires as a great workhorse but if we could get 25m then I think we have to take it

Must admit getting confused regarding Teixera as he appeared so keen to join us and as soon as we (appear to) have cooled off then suddenly Liverpool become his flavour of he month. I think we are lucky that they will not meet the transfer fee as the player simply wants to get out of Shaktar and will take any opportunity. KTBFFH

Ramires is great asset for Chelsea, never complained even being benched. But agree with CFC1905: if the fee is 25m as stated in the news, it’s just too good to refuse.

Good luck to Ramires. He gave us some good memories but for me he was never good enough for a centre mid in a top European club.

For a centre midfielder his touch, awareness and vision were awful. Who ever made him into a center mid by trade were wrong. His attributes are better suited to an attacking right back. That Barcelona goal 2012 CL scored from playing the right back position.

£25m is an outstanding return. we should hold onto this money until the summer and scout the market smartly over the next few months and pick our targets and get buying as soon as the league is over regardless of the Euros because the Euros normally increases values of players.

Ramires has been a good servant to Chelsea is a legend for the goal that set up that unlikely draw in the Nou Camp in 2012 and ultimately the CL win in Munich has always been committed to the cause and has great energy but like bort I don’t think he’s good enough and his passing ability has gone backwards.

    Wish him well though.

Ramires has been a very useful member of our squad. Although he has gone down the pecking order since Matic abd Fabregas came to the picture. Its not easy to dismiss what he has done for this club. He has something that Matic and Mikel doesn’t have. Speed and shooting accuracy. But if the amout that ia qouted is true. We should push for more and try to chope off as much as we can. Have on heart i would bite their hand off and take that amout. Abd rumours had that Realmadrid have made Hazard their top transfer target. We should look to spens that money to find a replacement.

999, you and I know that Realmadrid always get their man. Only a rare occassions that they happen to fail. For that reason i think our club should have a contigency plan should we lose him. Definitely we should hang on to Costa, Fabregas,Courtios,Matic, Willian and Zouma. They are our must retain. And hope we can hang on to Hazard, if not demand maximum.

According to reports today it seems that Chelsea have slapped a minimum asking price of 80m on Hazard

My guess is that this is initially a scare tactic to ward off most suitors but it also makes a clear statement that we are going to want some serious cash or players in exchange should Real pursue Hazard. KTBFFH

Like many of you I will never forget Rami’s nou camp goal, his opener against liverpool a week before in the FA cup final & those unstoppable goals V citeh when the balance of power had begun to shift to the Etihad. £25m if true, is simply good to turn down. A useful squad player no doubt, especially against teams we needed to be compact against. However his passing & giving away of needless fouls meant he was never good enough for our 1st team. The more he became our utility man, the more sloppy these weaknesses became. Its probably best for both parties as he has won a lot and still has a lot to offer – especially to a Chinese club. We are moving in another direction. Sad its happened so quickly – deserves a great send off
