Talk we could get him for around £25m in January. What are the thoughts? Good player who Klopp May make better for £25m. Could be the midfield link we are missing so sounds good to me, especially at that price.

Yeah rob, that would be a worry. Mind you, most people on here were underwhelmed when we signed the Ox and he proved us wrong.

I would take him, he is a very good player already imagine what he could become like under Klopp, he is a midfeilder that scores goals.

I think Ramsey would thrive in our system, he’s so good at finding space up front and in the box, and when the opposition already has Sadio, Bobby and Mo to worry about, there’s going to be plenty opportunity for him to find spaces and provide another dimension to our attack.

We also lack creativity and attacking threat from midfield in the squad, Ramsey fits the bill.

Yup, would defo take Ramsey at the right price.
An attacking midfielder that scores goals and can pick a pass is what we need.
Lallana seems to be on the wain and what better way to replace him. Klopp would improve Ramsey significantly too.

I remember him as a kid with all the hype and then playing for that good Wales team when he looked like he was going to be a big star. Sadly for him that never happened and he has gone backwards since, not helped by his injury record. He’s still a good player, but if wages demands of 250k are as reported in the Daily Mail (yes I know), then he’s not worth it at all.

Last year there were reports that he and Sanchez wouldn’t pass to each other due to some argument or something. If that’s true it’s not the sort of professionalism I’d like to see at LFC. Hope Utd get him, just so he can continue not to pass.

Threeps, that might be down to Sanchez who was very unprofessional during his final months at Arsenal… I like Ramsey, he can strike the ball, something our midfielders are not doing at the moment but 250k is a lot, even in today´s game. I mean Oxlade dropped down in wages and the reported 250k would disrupt our pay structure. Its one thing rewarding one of our own players for scoring over 40 goals a season and signing a player that has never sustained world class form for long. Especially one with a injury record like Ramsey, sounds more like his agent is using the club to bump up any potential offers.

Not a bad player, but injury prone, and a bit inconsistent, though does special things on occasion. Best to get him on a free – but definitely not on £250K wages, he’s nowhere near worth that much.

Question is how many midfielders will we have if he arrives? Someone will have to be sold to accommodate him

I was under the impression too that he was heavily injury prone but then ive checked and he’s made more than 30 appearances in the last load of seasons with more than 40 appearances in some of those seasons.
Seems he isn’t as bad as the perception.

250k a week is simply nuts though.
Even if it is just a rumour.

This. Sorry but we need consistency and we won’t get it with this guy.

250k/week ?! I hadn’t heard that.. If thats true, i hope we avoid. I mean, 100k/week would be more like it but even then I’d have to be convinced TBH.

As an upgrade on Lallana, yes, as a Coutinho replacement, No.

Ox and he proved us wrong?

I think he is currently injured & out for the rest of the season!

His injury record was why many had reservations & so far he has proved them right.

    Ramsey’s out for the season??
    You sure?
He scored in their last game and there are no reports of any injury.

He’s just cane out and said he’s honouring his contract with Arsenal.

AK, the OX’s injury could have happened to anyone and had duck all to do with being injury prone.

The 250K is what he is asking Arsenal for, Please mistake me if im wrong

If he’s moving on a free his wages would mostly likely come down due to the fact he would get a decent signing on fee. Which would be the case wherever he goes.

I think hes a decent player and a player who can play in the midfield 3 and is more attacking than what we have for that role.
If the transfer does happen then i expect to see 2/3 midfielders move on, Most probably Milner and possibly (Hopefully) Henderson.

AK – An injury sustained in a tackle has nothing to do with being injury prone, when we talk of injury prone we are talking about muscle tweaks and pulls, any player in the world can get injured in a tackle.
