4/10 at best. And that’s for actually allowing City’s four goals to stand. Seemed to give Bournemouth many ‘sympathy’ decisions, didn’t book their players when should have done and should have sent off their 15 in the same incident that he sent off Nolito – from where I was sat, it looked like their player also threw the head in retaliation.September 17, 2016 at 9:07 pm #1224300
Very quick to book Otomendi and was dying to send off Nolito (both decisions were correct) but like gables states there were at least 2 Bournemouth bookings in there
Also why no injury time – 2 goals, around 4 subs and Boric was down injured for a good while – and he plays 3 mins – I thought there was going to be a least 5September 17, 2016 at 9:07 pm #1224303
in fact I think there was 6 subsSeptember 17, 2016 at 11:07 pm #1224402
Good one on the kit, what a plonker and didn’t put on a black shirt at half time. Just seen the nolito incident, handbags at best. But no point arguing the decision, just why nolito why bother at 4-0 up. Otherwise agree with other posters he had nowt to do so 5/10. Poor kit, poor injury time and harsh sending off but unfortunately correct.September 24, 2016 at 8:36 am #1238571

Maybe we can redress that balance today!October 15, 2016 at 10:57 am #1267308
One of the weakest refs around, just seems to not quite understand a foul properly. He is never EVER consistent either which only adds to the frustrations of having him ref is.
I’ll guarantee he will book a City player for a foul and then let an Everton player off for a worst one, guaranteed.October 15, 2016 at 11:07 am #1267320
Tell me a good, consistent and fair ref? What happened to all the penalties for tugging in the area? Just Stoke v City then.October 15, 2016 at 11:18 am #1267347
To be honest, with knob head Kokarov around its a good job they eased off on that ruleOctober 15, 2016 at 11:47 am #1267374

Very good point Adlab.Mike Dean gave one the next week after he did the Stoke game.
Can’t think of many others getting punnished for doing it.October 16, 2016 at 10:21 am #1268409
I thought Oliver had a reasonable game yesterday (Everton at home) missed the obvious hack on sterling bit at least tried to let the game flow for both sides – couldn’t see the couple of earlier pen shouts but they looked hopefully best from my position – actual pens seemed correctOctober 16, 2016 at 1:36 pm #1268814
Other than a shocking challenge on sterling where the Everton player tried to do him, ref had a fine game. 8/10.October 16, 2016 at 2:10 pm #1268844
Ref ok 8/10October 16, 2016 at 5:29 pm #1269207

Absolutely garbage display from the ref… I often think it’s a ref having a bad game but today there were so many bad decisions against city in particular you have to question whether this is incompetence or something else… stopping the game for Hazard (when city were breaking) and then not for City (when Chelsea were breaking), I saw two clear handballs for penalties, the red card for Luis was so blatant, booking Otamendi for an over-agressive challenge (it was) but the same wasn’t issued for Chelsea (Willian, Costa).. no yellow card for Willian when blatently dived… utter rubbish 0/10December 3, 2016 at 6:45 pm #1348357
Can you give a minus score, appalling. Expect closed ranks by Monday though so don’t expect a sanction. I’ve seen this ref on other games and he seemed half decent. Perhaps he was over awed and the game was beyond him. His assistants were also no help and Dean is anti city and always will be. No excuses just hope he doesn’t ref another city game as I’ve never seen so many city players, even Silva wanting a word at the end.December 3, 2016 at 7:04 pm #1348384
To be honest I am strugling to understand how a ref can honestly make so many mistakes. Have to say for whatever reason I think the majority were intentional and he wanted Chelsea to win. Lost some faith in the game today. We know it happens the governance in the game is poor to non existent.
