I’ve supported Utd all my life, enjoyed our success and got frustrated at our losses. It pains to say but it is Man City’s time. Treble history beckons. (1998…. Manchester City 1-2 Mansfield Town… Attendance – 3 007). Today, they are the dogs doodahs and they will get better and better (they’re signing Haaland and Grealish in the summer). My beloved United is in a total mess – no direction, no plan, no hope. No end in sight to our misery 😒😒😒

To be honest, despite the raving about City’s performance yesterday, I actually don’t think they played that well and think Guardiola actually got his tactics wrong yesterday.

Even in the 2nd half, before the fluke first goal of KDB, City created nothing to threaten the PSG goal; and that was due to them not having an attacker to target in the box. Yes they had Foden’s shot but that was down to PSG errors and not good tactics from Man City. The only reason they won yesterday was due to the big moments all going in their favour:

    – KDB fluke goal which, on any other day to a half-competent keeper, they wouldn’t have scored

    – Mahrez’s free-kick going through the wall (again, highly unlikely)

    – A crazy tackle from Gueye which, let’s face it, on a normal day a player would never go in for or would not get that badly wrong

All the luck has gone City’s way this season in the CL (the refereeing decisions in both matches vs Dortmund and the above for yesterday) and usually when these things happen, that team ends up winning the whole thing.

They did wear PSG without creating. But that keeper was a retard.

Gary Linekar’s tweet was embarrassing to say the least. “Best ever away performance in Europe by an English side”?!??!
    Piss off Gary!

Every game Fernandinho plays, he’s constantly fouling all game. He hardly ever gets booked.

They could have played without him and still won.
They have a bit of e’thing in that side (cynical fouling, ducking n diving but a dominant centre half and some serious ball players too).
All bankrolled by the arabs of course.

PSG were a rabble and an embarrassment tho and not surprising.

We need to win the Europa and add 1 or 2 top notch first teamers and go again….

Ruben Dias was an absolute beast last night and has been all season; him and Van Dijk have shown what a difference a real top level CB makes to a team.

They’ll probably go on and win it now however they’ve proven this year that they can slip up if their opponents play the right tactics and have a strong mentality and don’t just roll over for them.

Yep, Dias has come in and made a 250 million pound defence looks like a 250 million pound defence – credit where its due.

Wonderfuel Gas – If you think it’s dead at times here. #i also post on this site as well as Teamtalk. It’s busy and has loads of sections and match day is really good. There are also movie sections where you can speak about horror lol. Use it as a second board, is how Teamtalk was years ago, busy/active. There are no knobs on there either.

Ha ha, not just the football, but it’s actually a good laugh with good banter. So the seriousness of football is mixed well with some real funny people.

Tuchel has done v well and over 2 legs they were miles better than Madrid. 3-1 flattered Madrid.
Not saying much as Madrid are poison and I hope we run a mile if offered any of their has beens. And they are full of them.
Should be a decent final as Tuchel is no mug and knows their limits..

I’d like to see Tuchel play 11 defenders and win 1-0.
